Good hole in the wall sorta place. A few tables in front of small storefront. Beef Tacos Barilla were amazing. Lot of food too. Basically braised (moist) beef cubes smooshed into a taco and served with a consume dipping sauce from the braising. Usually cilantro and raw onion is added. Yum.

Quaint space just off the beltway. Very easy to get to and a bit of a secret it seems. In the time I was here quite a few people came in for takeout orders. They have about 6 tables. The reason I say it’s a bit of a secret is because there’s no way people know how good the food is because there should be a line outside. I’ve been here about five times in three weeks. So far my faves are the barria ,, Jamaican fresh water and the shredded chicken nachos. Someone else had the with ground beef and said they didn’t care for it. I’ve also had the fajitas with & shrimp which is also delicious. Today there was only server helping with the the three tables and various takeout orders. If it get any busier I can imagine there will be some delays in service. Based on my experiences I would rate this place 4.8 of five on food, 4.2 on service and 3.7 on atmosphere. It could use an update. Thanks El Patron. I’ll definitely be back.

This was my first time trying carne asada tacos (on flour tortillas) and I am NOT disappointed!!! Delicious food!! I am also in love with the queso fundido and the guac is CHEFS KISS!

I would give 5 stars if service were at least good. Food is great!!! I loved the tacos. I got pastor tacos and my friend got shrimp tacos. Both were delicious. Thw menu has several options, so it wont be easy to pick if you enjoy all mexican food. Unfortunately, service is not the best, they didnt give us chips and salsa until we asked for it (which they normally do when you arrive), there was only one person at the cashier and taking the orders, so that made us wait a little more than the normal to order. The place is small but clean and neat, it has tables and booths which make it convenient if you come alone, with a friend or your family. It has mexican sodas as “Jarritos” which is great, also they have fresh horchata.

If you do nothing else, get the chips and queso. I had a whole entree that I saved for lunch because I filled up on the queso. I also made the mistake of sharing the queso. Don’t share your queso.
