Pleasant little Cafe right by the highway. Not very busy, so there were a lot of open tables, which was good. Very nice and friendly wait staff. I’m always a little queasy about people with ornaments in the nose serving food, so that is the only concern I would have. Everything else was good.

The eggs were pooled in oil, and the hash browns were undercooked. I was surprised the wait staff allowed our food to come to the table that way, our hash browns were still white and there was oil all over the plate. Everything had a very strong taste of iron, and was severely under-seasoned. We were here a few years ago and liked it, but sadly won’t be back again, its clear they don’t have a well-trained cook back there. The menus stated they’d be raising their prices, but even considering how affordable it was, I’d still rather pay more for a better meal.

I was really glad to find this great cafe while on a family road trip. We had a lovely lunch and PIE! Get the homemade lemonade; it’s banging and legit the best lemonade I’ve ever had. The owner and staff were no nonsense, lovely ladies. We had a great chat and felt very welcome.

We enjoyed a wonderful pancake breakfast in the outdoor seating area. The food was very good. The pancakes were huge and full of flavor. Egg omelette was hearty and sides were plentiful to round out the meal.

The waitress was friendly, the food arrived quickly. The burgers were good the cheese curds not so much. One because they were cheddar, which seems wrong considering Ellsworth, WI The cheese curd capital of the world is 30 miles away and 2 because the batter was pretty heavy. My wife got the potato salad as a side which looked pretty good.
