Authentic Taiwanese beef noodle spot. Perfectly balanced soup with tender beef. It’s right next to the famous Lan Zhou noodle house so it was honestly a little hard to find at first. But it’s literally right next to it so it’s easy to miss.

Originally I was taking my family to dim sum nearby but discouraged with the waiting crowds outside. While heading towards the pho place and my daughter wanted to try Xiang Ji noodle restaurant. I’ve heard about its predecessor but not familiar with the name change. I ordered the braised platter, clear beef stew noodles and braised beef noodles. The platter is beautifully presented and the sauce is very good. The beef noodles are cooked perfectly. The meat and tendon melt in my mouth. The soup is delicious. On top of this, the server/hostess/staff are super friendly and quick. I highly recommend.
