This restaurant is one of the only local places around that have gnocchi pasta. My brother got it again this time and I did too because of how much he liked it the first time we came (although I almost got a calzone again because that was soooo good last time too).

I called and was answered immediately with great service. I asked how long the two slices of cheese pizza would take. They said ten minutes. So I placed the order over the phone. I got there, it was a super cute place, smelled amazing. I only had to wait about 3 minutes but was greeted right away. I was really looking forward to some good pizza. I opened the box, it has 2 huge slices. Which made me feel like I had made the right choice. The issue is the pizza is cold, it’s not fresh. I eat cold pizza the day after I buy it. There’s nothing wrong with pizza from earlier in the day. But when you go somewhere and purchase 2 slices of pizza you expect them to be freshly made. The crust is super thin which probably would’ve been fine if it was fresh but since it was cold it was crunchy. Extremely disappointed I would not recommend.

So if you are deciding on whether or not to come here and expect an above average Italian taste, this isn’t it. Its not terrible, but it’s one of those places that are sworn by, by people who think olive garden is good. I’d say it’s slightly better than olive garden. Very genereic, dry garlic knots, sauce is basic. It’s just very normal, but in a disappointing way. Especially when next to the crossroad steakhouse which gave me the impression all these restaurants are upper echelon.

We aren’t able to fully review this place because all we do is get take out so we can eat at the brewery across the street. But the pizza was extremely good the price was reasonable and it was made in approximately the time that they predicted. While I was there I looked around and the food on other patrons plates looked like was good quality and good sized portions.. If I go back to that Brewery I would definitely get this food again. If I was in town for a meal I would definitely consider going to Paizano’s
