We are from up the coast a couple of hours, but we frequent this area. We ordered 3 pizzas from Pizza By Michael for the first time last night. I like the location OFF of Main Street which made it easier to get parked in my larger pickup and in to their shop. I was greeted and waited on one of the most friendly and polite young ladies that I have met in a long time. We took our pizza to go and when we finally began to eat about 15 minutes later…it was still quite warm….and very delicious! 2 thumbs up! 5 stars! I highly recommend! From RI. Passing thru town – was at Bentley’s Saloon nearby. Stopped here based on reviews. Quaint little place. Friendly girl at the front desk. Got a couple of pizzas. Very reasonable prices and pizza was excellent! Highly recommend.

I went into this shop with high hopes as local restaurants tend to be good and this is one of the best food restaurants I have ever eaten, the quality on all the items in the restaurant ever the recipes that are tedious they perfected everything, and the atmosphere of the restaurant fits that of a small Italian pizza shop, and the service was amazing all the employees were so nice and they make their own crust that makes the pizza so special making their food unique and delicious.

There’s a sense of pride in this pizza. 56 years in business and still counting. I love the old decor of the place. The pizza was so tasty the sauce not sweet and the dough so fresh. I’ll be back.

Pretty disappointed. When opening the box it was apparent the pizza was undercooked. Dough was very soft in the middle – so much so that when you go to pick it up, it falls apart. It had to be put in the oven when we got home. We also had a piece of baklava that tasted old. However, the people were kind and friendly.
