Stopped by after getting a new pipe from the smoke shop. Didn’t realize they are a food place / dog snacks/dog treats/cat treats place and fell in love with their crab subs. Have eaten here twice in 2 weeks and was very satisfied. Walk up counter service in a small, clean space. There’s a table and counter for those who want to eat there. I have had the seafood sub, and the meatball both were delicious. The bread is from a bakery on Brady Street and is definitely a “high” point that Brady Street is known for. I also had the shrimp corn chowder and deviled eggs. The owner, Deb, is warm and inviting and makes you feel like you just picked up a picnic basket from your mom. Prices are reasonable for food that’s not only tasty but made thoughtfully. I can’t wait to see how this evolves and hope you enjoy it as much as we did ☺️

Our first time and we were very happy. Great service and the subs were amazing. Why? Great bread, fresh toppings and a nice variety of sauce options. We will be regulars moving forward. Get there early before the deviled eggs run out

I have been on the hunt for the best meatball sub for 2 years now. I found lake side about a year ago and I will say, this one blows them all out of the water.And big shout out to the 92 Y/O Croatian lady who makes these meatball subs. She has it down to a science. Well worth your time. Friendly atmosphere and personable staff.

Great food at a great price, not to mention locally-owned. Deb is not only warm and friendly, but also a very hands-on owner and is typically doing all the work herself! Her subs, cookies, and soups are all wonderful. I like that you can get any sub done as a wrap, and most (if not all) of their dressings are made in-house. The subs are large and filling, so you can easily get a good meal for under $10. Even you add a drink, soup, cookie, and/or chips you’ll still be under $15.

The bread was about average, oil and seasonings were good but there were 4 thin slices of roast beef on my $9 sandwich. The food should be either better or cheaper then the competition down the road and unfortunately it was neither.
