The food was delicious, & the service was spot-on. It’s very much a family-friendly atmosphere. While it is definitely not a fast food joint; as they clearly remind you on a sign located in the business; it’s definitely worth the wait! I had the western omelette . It was honestly probably more food than I should have ate. I definitely got my money’s worth! And had it not been for a search on Google maps, I would have never found this place. Their exterior signage makes them a little difficult to find. But it’s obvious that’s not hurting their business one bit!

Outstanding food and service. With a VERY large menu there is something for everyone. I highly recommend the Little Miss Sunshine Pancakes. It come with strawberries, bananas, whipped cream and the sweetest story honoring the owner’s granddaughter.

Lauries is a bit dated, but my breakfast was a solid meal. The lounge in the back was not opened, but looked sizable. We had a big group and nothing was too surprising with normal breakfast fare. Large pancakes and reasonable omelets. If you are inclined to go out of the norm, and hunger for an egg’s benedict this is not your place as some in our party found.

Go for the French toast special! The service is quick and friendly. The decor is dated but who cares. Most of our group got the biscuits and gravy and were underwhelmed. But it’s family friendly, lots of options for big group settings, and the coffee was better than expected for a greasy spoon. Would go back!

Roomy booths. Cozy setting. And, as you might expect, over-the-top sweet breakfast options. French toast should be simple: thick, sourdough bread slices, drenched in egg batter, and browned. What I got instead was some kind of pancake covered with apple pie filling. Why someone would need additional sweetener in the form of maple syrup is something to ponder.

We usually eat at Lauries Grill every Friday morning. I would highly recommend this restaurant to a local or someone visiting Bend Oregon. You get a lot for your money as portion control doesn’t exist here. Their service is outstanding as their servers take care of you and make you feel important. We really enjoy their breakfast and I’m sure their lunch is good also. They are usually open 6:00 to 2: 00pm. This is a throwback to how restaurants used to be with service and quality food a priority.

The former Elmer’s !! Then Kayos and now Laurie’s !! Today’s visit was excellent. Seated promptly and we were served water quickly. After we ordered the food took some time BUT it was well worth the wait!!! One of the best omelettes we’ve had in quite a long time!

These people are great, I almost don’t want to leave a review because it’s such a hidden Gem and I selfishly like that it isn’t crazy packed YET!! But they do such a great job they deserve the credit. Laurie actually works there and My mom and I visit every Sunday and often during the week for my offices team meetings. They are so thoughtful and remember our names and everything. Can’t say enough good things, love this family owned local Gem. They even put on the cozy fireplace in the Winter!

At the crack of dawn, still operating on east coast time, we found ourselves at Laurie’s. Coffee was good- GREAT at that hour! And the staff never let me see the bottom of the cup. In fact, the most noteworthy of this place is the waitstaff. They were amazing. Chorizo omelette was humongous and the BLT was loaded with bacon and avocado. Definitely not stingy! Highly recommend for a solid, albeit predictable menu, well-executed.
