Our beautiful flagship restaurant was built in Charlottesville, Virginia and christened the “Wood Grill Buffet. ” After nearly a decade of success satisfying customers in Charlottesville, a second location in Harrisonburg, Virginia was built in 2006.

Loved their variety and price. I think it was $12.99 per person. Many vegetarian options. I loved how my server offered lemon water when I asked for just a plain water. I loved how they offered coffee at the end. You’ll have to take a new glove everytime you go to get the food. However, some people were not doing it. I wish someday we will get these many vegetarian option in Chinese and indian buffets.

This is one of the best buffets that I have ever eaten at and I’m 42 years old. The food is delicious and hot. There is a huge selection of hot foods, a carving station, foods for the little ones, and fresh cold salads, fruits and condiments. The fried chicken, both whole pieces and tenders are so juicy and crispy. They have some of the best sweet tea and lemonade to make a delicious half and half. I have been for breakfast and dinner and they are both equally impressive. There is a large dessert selection and the ice cream is sweet, cold and creamy. Last but not least the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is great and the customer service is great, what more could you ask for at a buffet?

This place was AWESOME! From the fried chicken to the collard greens everything was seasoned perfectly. Gloves were required while handling any food serving utensils. Staff were stationed next to each buffet season. I couldn’t have been happier with my dining experience.

Went with a large group and loved there was something for everyone to enjoy. Supplied disposable gloves and/or disinfectant gel to keep the hand clean after touching buffet serving utensils. Wide variety of “down home” vegetables and breads. Very reasonable price for amount of food choices – $17.99 plus $3.99 refillable drinks.

I love love love this place! I feel I can NEVER eat enough to pay for the cost of the buffet but when I do go out I want to go here. They have so much variety and their baked bread and desserts are too die for and I DON’T even usually eat sweets! They have fresh steak on the bar or while they are grilling more they will grill you one the way you want it. The waitresses are always so nice and keep your glasses full of beverages and your table clean off plates! I just can’t say enough good about this place. Only negative I can say is that I think the price is just a little steep and I wish they would offer coupons or something like that but every chance I get I will eat at this place. I love it!! 5 stars all the way!!

Wood Grill is one of our favorite restaurants because of the great atmosphere and the variety of food. The food us well seasoned and tasty. Today the steak was superb and my wife really enjoyed it! I recommend Wood Grill even if you are vegetarian because of their vast options of vegetables.

I’ve been to Harrisonburg a few times and never knew this buffet existed. I love a good buffet so I was willing to give it a try. Plenty of parking on both sides of the restaurant. Very clean inside. No wait, we were brought to a table immediately even though it was busy. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.
