After operating the Emerald Spirit liquor store for over 40 years, our family decided to open a neighborhood pizza shop next door, featuring subs, salads, pastas, appetizers and great beer. These have to be the nicest folks in the entire city! I went for the $4 pint night, got wings, pasta, and a pizza. The pesto pizza was out of this world, homemade pesto! I will definitely come back to this great pizza joint!

Support local! Having lived in Vista for 21 years and been in this shopping center numerous times, we never knew Pizza on Tap was here. We were greeted right when we walked in the door and they have a good amount of seating for a literal “hole in the wall.” The pizza was excellent and they have a surprisingly great beer selection. Would highly recommend!

Pizza was good. Price was great. Beer selection was a nice surprise. Quite a variety of local stuff and not all ipa. Pepsi products for the soft drinks. Lots of TV’s and can get loud with people. Clean bathroom ( I only saw the ladies). Staff was very attentive and kind to us and their regulars. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza.

We were visiting Oceanside and looking for a reasonably priced down to earth Italian pizza joint and we found oh so much more! First off the owners and staff here are so friendly and good at what they do! You can tell they care! So rare these days. Then there’s the food. All very good! The large pizza. The pesto pasta. The garlic bread. The wings. The Caesar salad. The pickiest kid in our family ate every single bite! We filled up, took away leftovers, and the bill was like $80 for 4 of us, with 2 alcoholic drinks. Pretty darn good. Thanks P.O.T. for helping me continue my streak of picking the best places to eat with another win. Holler if you open a restaurant in the South Bay!

Now that I’m moving to Texas tomorrow I found this place around the corner from my home. WHERE HAVE I BEEN!? I know this has been here but I didn’t discover it until now. I had the tossed salad and so good and fresh. Then I had an Italian sub. OMG. So amazing! The bread was crispy crust but soft inside. And all the meats so fresh. Melted cheese but fresh tomatoes and lettuce. I’m sad I didn’t find it sooner but happy I got to enjoy it once before leaving California. Great work guys!

It’s my first time ordering from this awesome restaurant! I ordered door dash! Couldn’t beat the price! And the pizza hot and cold is sooo bomb! It was a hit with my entire family including my 7 year old the crust is soo good and flavorful and it’s EXACTLY WHAT I WAS CRAVING! I’m so excited I found my new pizza spot! And me and my kids are pickey pizza eaters we love good crust, and the cheese is so tastes I am very happy! ❤️
