I’ve been eating here for years, and the food quality is always top notch. Love the joojeh! I got a big take out order for my family today, and when I got home (I live pretty far away), I found that part of my order was missing. I called them up and they offered a replacement. But, as it’s a long trip for me, that wasn’t going to work. They immediately refunded the price of the missing item, no arguments. A really nice crew at the restaurant!

8/25/2023 One star because I tried to call my order in at 8:37 pm, was still on hold (message said I was first in queue) when I walked up to the register only to be informed by an employee that they stop taking orders at 8:45. I told her I’d been on hold all this time. Her response, “Well, we’re trying to close.”

Walk in on a Sunday@11:30am as they don’t take calls until noon. Level up or credit card doesn’t work or and had to pay by cash. Went to Safeway to pick up some stuff after more than 20minutes, my order wasn’t even ready when I got back. Will definitely not come back. Loyal customer of the one on Wisconsin Ave though.

Placed an order for the Tuesday Special, I asked for two Lamb Shanks specials (I asked for one with white rice, rather than the green rice that is served with the lamb shank special, and told the cashier that I only wanted the other lamb shank special, with just the Lamb Shank.

Came for a late dinner just before 9 pm. Lots of customers and staff were friendly and ready to cook! I ordered the chicken kabob on salad which comes with a half pita and some white salad dressing (yogurt cucumber sauce … yum). The chicken was outstanding with just the right amount of seasonings and it was cooked just right … it was juicy and delicious! The salad comes with ample lettuce, along with (excellent) Kalamata olives, cucumber, tomato and feta. I asked for another half pita and I watched them bake in the stone oven right in front of me. It was warm and amazingly good. I will come back again to try more items on the menu!

Good rice and meat preparation and average menu. The place is bright but ill kept and not clean. The staff is not so helpful and wants to charge you for condiments. The tables and floors are dirty.

The new boss is terrible he treats his employees bad and sometimes I feel like he’s racist because when he sees his own race he treats them good but since every employee is Hispanic he treats them trash and acts nice with customers but in reality once you know his true colors he is a awful person and trust me he isn’t a kind boss he doesn’t deserve to own the restaurant with his attitude and whenever you order food there it would take a long time for them to make your food.
