Overall, not a great experience as a sum of all of its parts. The restaurant is quite attractive, modern with Spanish flare. It is quite appealing to the eye, while the other senses lack. The staff seem to be half in it, scrolling on their phones, counting tips, and stocking beer as opposed to serving customers. Waited 10 minutes to get greeted, asking for suggestions on what to eat because the menu is quite extensive (I didn’t really get an answer), upon looking closer, the visual appeal is hiding many different things. Everything was sub-par, hard to find anything to glout about. After about 45 mins to get food, which the restaurant was not busy at the time of entry, it fell way short of what our bartender called delicious. 1 example being the enchiladas I ordered, only taking 2 bites, both were the consistency of stew, but the real problem was eating almost an entire bay leaf, which was an immediate dislike. The manager saw this and was immediately dissatisfied with what he saw. It was taken care of. Although my philosophy typically is that everyone deserves a second chance, I believe too many fuax pas were made to warrant a return visit.

I am a first time visitor of this establishment and my experience was great. Server was nice and welcoming. The food came out fast and was excellent. I ordered the passion fruit margarita and the pollo rivera maya. The mango Caribbean sauce on top of the grilled chicken is a 10 for sure. I went in on a solo date but the environment is family friendly and lively.

The margarita, chips and salsa were good. Everything else was blah to me. I did not enjoy my food, but it could have been what I selected because I think my friend enjoyed hers. I’d only return if I was in the area and grabbing drinks. The staff’s nice though.
