We are so excited to open Munch Hut Deli & Store right across from the Arch of UGA. We are bringing your favorite snacks, drinks, and vape products at a convenient and great food and flavors, such as delicious sandwiches and gyros, at our restaurant. We are open til 2am Mon-Sat and until 10pm on Sunday, so folks have a greater opportunity to get good food after a long day of studying and living the UGA/Athens life.
We also do catering, so just let us know what you would like to order. We have the munchies, too, so come on in and get your munch on at Munch Hut Deli & Store.

Great food and service. Order prepared in a timely manner w/o sacrificing quality and had lots of options. Wings were very crispy, which I like. Would recommend telling them how you like them cooked if you would want otherwise. One of the hidden gems of Athens.

I work downtown and come here often and everytime I’ve come, I’ve been missing sauces, this is the fourth time. I had to walk 30 minutes total instead of 15, so by the time I got home my food was stone cold. I spend 20-30 dollars here everytime and One of the wings doesn’t even have a full bone in it. I’m not mad I’m just saying I know y’all can do better than this.

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place while out with my family! I like that they carry a variety of snacks and drinks; it’s convenient to be able to grab a few things for my kids while our food is being prepared. I ordered from here through doordash last night because they were one of the only places still open. I got my food in a timely manner and it was still hot. I ordered the philly sandwich which was really delicious and a good size for the price! Now I’m excited to stop by the next time I’m out drinking downtown. Thanks for the late night craving fix.

My husband and I were so excited to learn that there’s now a place in Athens to get gyros again and had to go try it out. I got the gyro and my husband got the chicken philly and I split mine with my mother. We were all three quite pleased with the food. The meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the veggies were great too. They also have this amazing super hot pepper sauce that doesn’t disappoint. The people working were both very nice and helpful and the prices were extremely reasonable. Also, they have the best sanitation grade in Athens at a 99. That says a lot about how clean this establishment is kept. We will all be going back to eat there, no doubt about it. And we will definitely be telling our friends about this place.

I have eaten here a couple of times and have been underwhelmed for the price I pay for the food. 9.75 for three chicken fingers and soggy fries I could cook better out of my microwave? Yeah no. It’s a quirky hole in the wall deli/convenience store in a good location with late hours, but Munch Hut is not worth the prices considering they don’t make any food you couldn’t simply make yourself.
