More of a take out place. Looks like it was a nice place back in its glory days. A bit run down. Needs some TLC. Nice wait staff. Affordable dishes. Fun cocktails.

Will never be ordering from here again. I’ve ordered sushi many times with multiple people and the orders were always separate. Tonight, they mixed multiple orders all in one container, and unfortunately one of the people in the group is vegetarian and wouldn’t eat the mixed food. We called them about it and they got very combative, saying it was our fault for not stating their were food allergies, but I pointed out that I have ordered numerous times in the past and that this has never been an issue. The person I spoke to just insisted this is the way they always do things and that I was lying about things always being separate. They even went so far as to pull up my order history to see if they could prove me wrong (which of course they couldn’t do). Eventually I had to hang up because I couldn’t take being berated and belittled anymore. Most places would apologize and try to make it right, this time it was our fault (even though history was on our side) and my friend had to find dinner somewhere else. This is not a way to run a business, you don’t blame, yell at, and argue with your customers when you make an arbitrary change to the way things have been done! Not to mention that the whole place is just starting to look run down and dingy and their dumpster stinks the outside of the restaurant up like no other restaurant I’ve ever been to before. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else with staff that won’t pick an argument with you over something that they did! If I could leave negative stars I would!

Sad little restaurant that is obviously a shell of what it used to be. Food is always mediocre at best, but the real problem is their service; it is deplorable! Never before have I been yelled at by a restaurant worker when I pointed out a problem with my order. I won’t ever again step foot through those doors, I’ve got better things to do with my time! If you’re looking for good Chinese food at a place with an amazing atmosphere, keep going the extra few miles down the road to Fu’s in Sparta! Don’t let the different street names fool you, it’s even on the same road!!

This review is from my wife and I, to give Chun Bo the credit they deserve. We get our normal from any Chinese restaurants, hands down this is the best. General tso, egg rolls, sesame chicken, absolutely phenomenal. We have a place by us, and Chun Bo is 10 mins more. Without a question we take the drive. First time we had food here, we were very impressed. Even thought it may have been a fluke. Had it a 2nd time, absolutely no different, still incredible. The fried rice is a delicious addition to whatever you get.

Stopped for lunch and had Dim Sum, fried dumplings, shrimp foo yung, and chicken with black bean sauce. All well made fresh and were very tasty. Extensive menu with lots of appetizers, entre’ dishes, and desserts. They have a few beers, plus they serve the fun cocktails and regular cocktails. I tried the Tsintao beer, which was very good! Hot n Sour soup and wonton soup, also. All were good, fresh made, and not doughy. Veeeery good!

Great food, in particular the beef is tender, flavorful and high quality. Other dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The servers are charming and delightful. Definitely my favorite in the area.

First off, service is amazing, was greeted by the waiter in a formal manner with a smile! Always looking forward for another conversation with the waiter! Food is OUTSTANDING, like always! Space is clean, big parking space. Offers both Chinese cuisine and some Japanese cuisine. There’s also a bar that I haven’t tried yet. Would be visiting soon…

The food used to be better than it is now, but that is not the issue. You don’t argue with your customers when you mess an order up! You apologize and come to an understanding of how to make it right. Grow up and stop alienating your customers!!

I’ve gone to Chun Bo for lunch and dinner with family since they opened their restaurant decades ago. I’ve lived out of state for nearly 30 years but I do still occasionally visit family and friends in NJ. The drive is worth going to Chun Bo to eat, far better than my local Chinese restaurant. Chun Bo has the best Chinese and Japanese food I’ve ever eaten, great prices and service. Lovely and peaceful atmosphere for dining in. Many times I also get take out when I’m in a hurry.

Been eating take out from there for 25 yrs. Great food, but now they have changed their fried dumplings to store bought and are terrible. Please go back to the original dumplings. Will not buy again. Prices are really increasing. May have to go elsewhere.
