Fried rice was not proper fried rice. Too dark had little to no veggies in it as well as egg. The taste of the rice was not that of traditional fried rice nor did it when look like fried rice should. The food was forgettable. Service was decent enough although some minor communication issues. Atmosphere was fair could use an update. Spotted a roach crawling on a chair in the dining room. Don’t want to imagine what the back of the house looks like. Would not go again unless desperate.

Used to go here all the time as a kid with my Nana it’s very beautiful atmosphere with the nicest people working there ever. My favorite was their hot tea (they sold us tea leaves one time because I loved it so much) and their Pu Pu Platter is a must try as well (though I loved all their main dishes). 10/10 if you’re in the area or driving through definitely stop here!!

We’re visiting family in the area and were pleasantly surprised to find that Hunan Village has a vegetarian menu in addition to their regular menu. Being a family of vegetarians, we all tried stuff off of the vegetarian menu. We tried the General Tso “chicken”, Hunan “beef” and vegetable rolls. It was SO good! Would definitely recommend you give this place a try. Big portions that are prepared quickly.

I think that others who have left reviews are thinking of a different restaurant. My experience was disappointing. First, when I ordered online I was told that my shrimp dish came with shrimp fried rice, but then they tried to charge me an extra $5 for it when I got there. The lady on the line who took my order told me my total was $13 and change. When I got there they wanted to charge me $27. And then when I got home and opened the container of food that I had ordered and apparently paid $16 for, it was little more than half full, and most of the content was soy sauce based liquid with little else. We eat a lot of Chinese food, but I will never order from this place again.
