This is a great place. It’s a whole in the wall, is nothing to look at, but they have fantastic cheese steaks. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. The bread they use is perfect, I’ve only been there once but I’m definitely going back. I got the south Philly with the cheese whiz, it was fantastic.

Such a small little place and when I went in I was almost afraid to get anything but I ordered for my whole family. The 4 of us each got something different and everything was amazing! Cooked fresh right in front of us pretty much. I loved watching the regulars come! We’ve been back twice since then!

The only reason I am giving this place a 2 star rating is because for a combo it was 13 bucks! 6 something for the sandwich and 5 something for onion rings and a drink. That is outrageous!!!! I have been in the food industry for 20 years and I couldn’t believe it. Over 20 dollars for 2 people to eat. Unfortunately I prob will not come back due to the prices.

I am super disappointed. I’ve never been here and found them online. I ordered off the menu online based on their prices. Only to get to the restaurant and the prices were not remotely correct! Thankfully i brought enough money. When I informed the cashier of this he told me i don’t know where you got that from but those prices aren’t correct. So you should really correct the issue because i spent almost 10 dollars more than anticipated based off your menu on google. That’s false advertising.

Small town sandwich shop, great food, wonderful atmosphere and the staff is friendly. I’ve met Betty, and she’s so sweet and nice. Definitely one of my favorites in Fort Atkinson.

After reading what the owners say on their website, I was expecting a good cheesesteak. I admit to having little experience in the cheesesteak sphere, being more of an Italian Sub or Cuban kind of guy. Ken & Betty’s cheesesteak was a darn good sandwich, though. Simple, mild-flavored, the steak, cheese and bread really combined into a satisfying experience.
