I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The atmosphere is great for dining the flavor of the food is wonderful too. Mexican platters don’t usually have a lot of greens such a salads or things of that sort. So it is just the item you ordered and in this case a large burrito for lunch. This farolitos is quite busy during the Sunday lunch hour. Parking on Sundays is very convenient in the nearby multi-level parking structure which is a short walking distance. Update April 2023. This little spot is on Harbor Blvd. in Downtown Fullerton, it’s really clean, casual, with a friendly staff, and a great menu. It’s the perfect little hole in the wall for a hot bowl of Menudo after a hard night of partying or gut busting plate of carnitas to start your Saturday off on the right!

The food is good. The atmosphere is upbeat. The service on June 27 was unusually poor, slow, and chaotic. It could have been a case of someone calling out so they were short-staffed. I’ve been to this place so many times and the service has always been great. But this Taco Tuesday was not the business. Overall Farolito’s is a great place to have a great meal, a refreshing cocktail and cold beers. I definitely will be back.
