Barbeque is a tough category to judge. Once you’ve had really good BBQ, it raises the bar pretty high. Dickies isn’t bad by any means, it’s just not as good as some of the top tier I’ve had before, so that’s why I give it 3 stars. I do like the smoked sausage, and turkey. The brisket is sometimes juicy, sometimes dry. Overall it’s a good meal when you don’t have 8hrs to smoke one yourself. The staff is always warm and inviting, and I can appreciate the daily scripture on the whiteboard. The free ice cream is great, when the machines working.

Still a lil pricey but worth it!!!! The staff was very respectful the manager on duty was nice and greeted up upon arrival we dont have one in Lubbock due to unknow reasons I had to come by they are not shy on the meats they give you just the right amount If I am around the area or if I can make the drive I take the opportunity and come over they never let you down here and thats what I like its very consistent made our food fresh and was awesome

This place never fails my family. Every time we visit, which is not often anymore, they are out of turkey and or baked potatoes “bakers”. Regardless of the time or day we visit (1pm, 6pm or 7pm). They are “out” of the product we choose to eat. We have walked out of the establishment 2 times (over the last year) prior to today for this very reason. For the price and inconvenience, from now on we will choose to eat here if it’s a last resort.

It was OVERLY PRICE for a small sausage sandwich and very nasty! Sloppy when prepared. Coke was flat!! I came for business out of Lubbock. No cars were behind me when I ordered, but the lady was nice but pushy. I will NEVER visit again. I should have turned around or called back for a manager. I don’t recommend anything.

Feb 25, 2023. Dickeys catered our company’s annual anniversary event, hosting 120, in Lubbock TX. They provided us with exceptional service at a great price. The price they quoted was what I paid (not always so when it comes to caterers) and even with delivery, setup and buffet service, was lower than quotes I received from other restaurants here in Lubbock. The food was amazing! 100% will be using them again!

What can I say besides amazing?! Wonderful service, nice restaurant and food that is out of this world!! The tenderest turkey I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had a brisket salad, chicken over potato casserole, 3-meat plate, and the brisket Mac n cheese. All were great! Dickey’s is my new favorite place to go.

We let them know days ahead of time we would have a group of 45 people and they were excited to serve us. Within minutes they ran out of pulled pork, soon after they ran out of rubs. Not certain why we called ahead. Understaffed and waited in line for over 55 minutes.
