We celebrated our son’s wedding dinner here after a gorgeous ceremony in Estes Park at Bear Lake. What a delightful, charming & most accommodating venue!! Kaylee attended to us the most magnificent fashion!! The dinner was delicious & so appreciated after a long day of driving & hiking in the cold!!! Thank you Kaylee & Waterfront Grill for a fabulous celebration dinner!!!

Mid afternoon for lunch, sat outside by the lake. The property is beautiful, the service, and food not so much. It took way too long & had I been alone I would have left. The fish was overdone in my fish tacos & my friends salad had no dressing. Maybe go for dinner or cocktails.

The bacon wrapped jalapeños were good. We also shared the Elota soup that was the star of the meal. I had a meatloaf that consisted of wild game that was delicious, there were quite a few mushrooms on top. The chicken dish was delicious and the side potatoes were really good.

The Waterfront Grille was a lovely place to have a date night. The restaurant is very nice with great lake views! We we’re there in May so the restaurant wasn’t crowded and it was nice to have the place almost to ourselves. While we waited for our food we sat by the fireplace which was very cozy. Our server was great and very attentive. We both had steak and even though mine was over done it was still very good. I would definitely recommend this for a date night!

I think the food is overpriced for what you get. The views make it worth going but you should know ahead of time that you are paying for the view not the food.

What a great place to have dinner! The lake view and outdoor area are amazing and the piano man really livened up the inside seating. I highly recommend this experience!

Where do I begin? The restaurant seemed friendly upon entry, sweet hosts and hostess and a timely seating arrangement despite covid -19 precautions.

We received a voucher for a free appetizer at check in to the resort. Which was kind, due to the construction that is going on. I was excited to try the restaurant because of the beautiful lakeside view that I could enjoy with my husband. (This is our honeymoon). As we stood waiting to be seated, I realized that our voucher was good only during happy hour which started at 8pm. We arrived at 7:30. We asked the host if it was okay to use, if it wasn’t we were just going to wait outside and enjoy the elk sounds and the view. However, she said that it was good to still use. She sat us, and the majority of the tables were empty but they were also dirty. Our waitress came to our table and didn’t even greet us. She begins by saying that the free appetizer ticket we had could not be used because it was only 7:30. I told her that the hostess stated it was okay, at which point she looked down at her watch and pointed out that it was in fact not 8pm. She then just walked away. We assumed that she was going to find out if it was okay to do the happy hour appetizer or not. I was instantly turned off. It got worse as I read the dinner menu too. If you are looking for many options for a meal, this is not the place to go to. While we were waiting I started looking up other restaurants we could go to. My husband and I waited longer, and finally got up to leave after 20 minutes of not even being asked what we wanted to drink. Keep in mind it was not busy at all. As we were leaving the waitress yells “you two!” And stops us. She insisted that we come back in for a meal and we told her that we waited 20 minutes and that it was okay, but we were going somewhere else. She then offers us s free appetizer. WHAT???? That’s why we were there in the first place!

The staff is exceptionally nice and go out of their way to contribute to your stay. The views from the restaurant and the bar area are spectacular. Lake Estes is directly outside and the Rocky Mountain National Park is in the distance. No matter where you sit in this quaint little restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to go back and see you guys soon
