We loved these dishes very much. My mother and I both agree that this place is better than Olive Garden and Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse when it comes to both flavor and pasta. First time for either of us to try a cannoli. We will definitely come back.

Stopped overnight in Newton on a trip and decided to try Biaggio’s for dinner. Best decision ever. The food was outstanding. I had the pasta sampler. Great flavors and well balanced with no strong garlic. Very reasonable prices. I wish this restaurant was in our town so I could be a regular.

Absolutely amazing food here. Had garlic cheese bread and mushrooms for an appetizer, a few main dishes and cannoli & tiramisu for dessert to go. Definitely a gem in Newton. Worth the drive from surrounding towns. The service was great. Will be back again.

We absolutely love this place! Baggio makes some of the best Italian dishes in the area! If you want to have a fantastic meal with rich flavors & good service definitely check Biaggio’s out! On this evening I got the Chicken Calabrese with a cannoli for dessert & everything was delicious!

We drove here from Grinnell to try something new and special for my birthday. The reviews were good online, so we gave it a shot. It is converted from a sports bar, which you can tell by the interior decore, but I think it’s done very well. It’s respectfully decorated and warm to present a nice italian ambiance with good background music. I suspect as they get their feet under them as a new restaurant. They will upgrade the decor. Now for the food…it was fantastic!! They have a nice soda and beer selection and a broad menu. We started with a nice-sized salad with their delicious creamy parmesan, then chose their Hot Shrimp and Biaggio’s special. They were both nice portions, spiced and cooked splendidly. I hoped the Hot shrimp would be spicy as described, and it was! Yum! And though we were full, since my wife conveniently addressed me as “birthday boy,” they served a complimentary slice of also-good raspberry cheesecake. And the price?…hard to believe I’m saying this but in 2023, it was ONLY $49, including a 20% top! Give it a try! Were going back and I’m sure you will too!!

I’m not a Big fan of Italian, and since I’m now Gluten Free I pretty much skip it altogether. But I called just on the off chance they might have a gluten free option and they had plenty.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Iowa and Nebraska. We dined in twice while visiting Newton. The owners wife is warm and friendly. The food is authentic and like food in Italy. Wonderful food. Wonderful staff. Perfect restaurant. ❤️

We were in town for the sprint car nationals and was looking for Italian food. This place absolutely did not disappoint, and the waiter was great. Hopefully they are still here next year. We’ll be back for sure.

Great food. We will definitely be back. Service was OK. Our waiter seemed new and a little swamped. He was trying and did a pretty good job and had a great attitude in spite of the learning curve. We are glad to have found this spot.

Delicious meal enjoyed with a large (9) group of friends. Excellent service, and we appreciated being seated together in a separate room. ‘Background’ music a bit too loud. Will certainly return!
