We had a craving for Chinese food but are always a little skeptical of getting it when traveling. Based on other reviews we decided to try Mandarin House and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It appears to be a local favorite. We had Potstickers, Kung Pao Chicken, garlic asparagus and both fried and steamed rice. Everything was delicious and we see why it’s such a popular restaurant!

I grew up in the Seattle area and moved to Pocatello 20 years ago when I got married. For the past 2 decades Mandarin House has been a tradition in our family. We order at least once a month and our 3 teenagers love Mandarin House too, they’ve had it since they were babies. Yummiest Chinese food in Pocatello. I haven’t found better even in Seattle. Our oldest son is going to pick up dinner right now. I recommend their pot stickers, golden bread, curry fried rice, orange chicken and egg rolls. Their egg rolls are HUGE! Everything I have tried on the menu is delicious and the service is great. 20 years and I’ve never been disappointed in Mandarin House.
