I have begun to enjoy Capitol a lot. Great destination for low-key food and drinks on weekdays – the extremely crispy wings and the cheesesteak are standout hits – and then on weekends and during certain special college celebrations, it transforms into a literal dance club, complete with an entire extra bar on the dance floor and rocking music from the DJs. The place gets absolutely packed, loud, and wild. It’s exactly what a dance club-style bar should be, and a modest cover charge for DJ night is well worth it. Weekend happy hour specials are awesome, half price well liquor drinks is a major hit. They also stock my favorite New Trail beer, Crisp Lager. Even though I’m no spring chicken and it’s been a long time since college, I am always down to party, or just to grab some food and beers, at Capitol. Special shout out to Jason, really nice dude. You run a great establishment!

Way too much security makes you feel like you’re gonna get into suten not good when you’re just trying to get a few drinks in and chill . Besides that nice spot great bar staff music dance floor has that night club vibe wit a music show presence!!!

As a just graduate, I love and miss Capitol – this place is an absolute staple for any college student at BU. Some of my best, and worst, moments were at Cap and I will always make time to come back to this place. I also love their Line Dancing Wednesdays! Overall amazing place.

From the owners to the bartenders to the servers to the kitchen staff to the bouncers, I cannot say good enough things about them. They are friendly and knowledgeable about drinks, they help for even the picky drinkers. I recommend this place for anybody in need of great food and even better drinks!

Lot of fun!! The music was terrible but it was “country music night”… at least there was a few people dancing though!! Replace it with EDM night and people might start packing the dance floor!! The DJ wouldnt play my request even though I told him a country song too

Nothing says corona virus like skeezy college kids elbow to elbow. The Bartenders were great. The atmosphere was disgusting and about 3 beers away from a rinky dink horror movie . Nowhere to set beers. It was like a college room party. Tsk tsk tsk.
