Opened in the early 90’s, Perkins was a community fixture in Woodbury when there wasn’t nearly the amount of dining options as there is now. From the late night bar crowd to the busy Saturday and Sunday mornings with families. Lots of good memories this building had in its nearly 30 year run. Now closed as of 4pm on 10/20/2019

They closed the restaurant without giving employees a notice until day of at this location and at other locationsthat closed within the last two months. The managers knew a week before everyone else.

I am a huge Perkins fan, but this was disappointing. I saw the reviews saying they were discriminatory towards non-locals. I figured it was not true and just people over exaggerating, but unfortunately it was not fable. The host was very kind and friendly. He made us feel at home. But the rest of the staff provided poor service. We waited a long time for our drinks and about 30 minutes for our food to get to us. The restaurant was not very busy and they easily could have provided much faster service. After our regular meal, we all had ordered pie. The pie took so long and had such limited options that we almost had to leave. And we all love pie. It was a very sad experience. We did eventually get our pie but the good vibes had already been killed. I am usually an easy going person but our experience was very poor and deserved to be published. Please, do not do yourself the disservice of eating at this Perkins. Avoid it at all costs. Have a blessed day.

Our sever was very nice. We needed a large table so we called I day ahead, she said no problem. When we got there got a bad attitude from male employee. We ordered drinks they were flat tasting so we told the waitress and two employees came out and said that impossible cause the pop machine didn’t have a error on. We had to ask for new pop and got attitude, but this time the pop was good. Also the food was mediocre.

Friendly staff, pleasant dining room. Meal was quite good, coffee was decent, a tad stronger would be perfect. Tasty and lots of calories, chocolate brownie with hot chocolate in the middle it was 3-4pm so I sat in the booth to do work, and my coffee cup was filled or I was asked if I wanted more. I’ll return but prob no dessert

Service does seem to be slow, as echoed by other reviewers. Have never had a problem with the food though. The inside could use some cleaning and updating however. There are a few gluten free options but nothing to write home about. Kids eat free on Wednesdays and Saturdays!

We waited 10 minutes to be seated. Seated at a booth that needed cleaning. After ordering and waiting

If I could give a 0/5 I would. We were waiting for our food for an hour and a half and when we got it, it was lukewarm at best. Our waitress was curt and gave us little attention but gave other customers, who arrived after us, their food and bill.

After being immediately seated, I waited in vain for staff to return and take my drink and food order. After more than 10 minutes, and not so much as an acknowledgment of my presence at the table, I just chose to leave. I hadn’t been to Perkins for several years prior to this visit. I’m sure it was just miscommunication between the staff that seated me and the waitstaff, but it really gives me no reason to ever return. Eating out should be quick and convenient, not a disappointing exercise in aggravation.
