I really wanted to enjoy lunch at Bobby’s today, but didn’t expect to not get what I ordered and pay for more than what I got. I tried to call them three times and no one would pick up the phone so I could report my issue so instead will be leaving this review. Be sure to check you’re food thoroughly before you leave the restaurant area. I made the mistake of driving all the way home (20 mins) then realizing that the three Bacon Double Cheeseburgers I ordered had no Bacon on any of them. I was very unhappy about it as were my kids to say the least. I would expect this from the other fast food burger joints in town, but not Bobby’s. I guess I was wrong. In addition the hamburgers overall were not great and were actually disappointing. My kids whom always quickly down a burger only ate about 1/2 of it and said they didn’t taste good. The bacon would have made them a good bit better, but the hamburgers themselves were average at best and on top of that on the expensive side. We ordered fries as well which were pretty good, but needed salt. This will make my second trip to Bobby’s recently where I wasn’t pleased with my food and felt like for the quality of food it doesn’t warrant the price and can’t recommend it for those reasons. I understand that Bobby’s is a local landmark of sorts and has a loyal following, but there are better burgers in Douglas.

I’ve been wanting a good handmade burger since we moved here last August. Finally tried Bobby’s. The gourmet burger is off the chain. Cringled fries hot and delicious. If you want a great burger and fries this is the place.

Tried the drive through service. The cheese, egg and bacon biscuit sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. I’ll be back!

Even though she has been in the window for months and I see her everyday, I don’t know her name ☹️ But, the girl on the back drive thru window with glasses is my favorite. I get salt and pepper with my grits everyday and she always has my little bag ready with the perfect amount. Most people give you 2 or 3 of each even when you ask for a lot but she fixes me up right and is always very sweet. Good customer service is what keeps people coming back day after day!

Always my #1 place to grab a bite! My husband was a local and introduced me to Bobby’s. I have been in love ever since. Breakfast or lunch no matter when this is my choice. From their breakfast bowl with ham&cheese to a turkey club & a order of fried logs with ranch. Best food in town no doubt and No compaction!

Usually this is one of the better places in Douglas to eat all the away around, however here lately the Guthrie’s choice of the staff representing their business does not do them justice! The last 3 or 4 times I have been there the drive thru staff were RUDE as all get out. Today we simply asked for some ketchup and the little girl at the window actually rolled her eyes at me and handed me 1 small tub of ketchup like it was coming out of her personal check. Now we ordered 2 large fries in both orders we made so I ignored the eye rolls and asked again for a couple more say daughter eats the ketchup as sauce for her nuggets again we get the eye roll and she hands me 1 other ketchup and closes the window. Now I know they close at 4 now and yep we got there at 3:20, however we also sat at the speaker and in line at the first window 10 to 15 min waiting on the little girl to take our order and the people in front of us what ever she held them up doing. Closing time has since changed to 2 pm WOW She did apologize for the wait soon as we got to the window but the eye rolls and stinginess with the ketchup made up for it. Time before that I ordered a breakfast grits plate with sausage and scrambled eggs young lady at the window repeated the order and said plate get there she herself hands me a breakfast bowl; my issue here you ask is personally I cant stand it all mixed together. Then when I asked her to correct it she got her a$$ on her shoulders snapped that I ordered a bowl and tried to stare me down like she was daring me to dispute it I did. Then threw it in the trash and informed her Bobby or one of the girls would hear about it but oh well that’s rare anyway someone needs to inform the employees how they should act in representing the Bobby’s name.
