Finally got to visit this gem for breakfast that I had heard about for a few years. It did not disappoint as my Hobo Skillet was outstanding. Was not greasy as some Skillets are at other places but was very flavorful and fresh. It was cooked exactly as asked to over easy. Service was good and friendly. Great way to start your day!

Best diner in Beloit hands down. The food is fantastic, as is the service and prices. Superb, fluffy blueberry pancake stack and delicious skillets and omelets and other items for breakfast. Don’t sleep on the lunch which is also delightful.

This was my second time stopping by for a meal. It seems to me that they have a much more expanded menu now than they did a year ago. Service and food was very good, hot and fast. My criticism of the waitress is that when she brought out the food she asked if there was anything else we needed and then she didn’t come back until the end of the meal. Servers really should check with their guests at least one or two more times depending on how busy they are. But they still deserve and get 5 stars.

I went on a Monday morning, very busy. Everyone looked to have enjoyed their meal. I had a corned beef hash skillet. One thing I didn’t like was the amount of cheese that was used, super overwhelming, kinda took the taste of the corned beef hash. Only tasted the cheese but overall it was good.

We had a nice meal and a good waitress. Prices and food portions are very good. Breakfast is served the entire time they are open. They were quite busy when we got there at 1pm. Definitely worth stopping in if you haven’t before. They are kid friendly. The little guy at the next table was given a large box of crayons and paper to draw on.

Holy cow! The cinnamon roll French toast and service were phenomenal and this is not something I say often (waver between high standards and picky ). Everyone loved their food. They were super busy when we came in but had a parking space right by the front door and a few empty tables. They greeted us immediately with big genuine smiles. They had menus on the table before we sat. They had coffee and cups there while we were sitting down. I ordered something with changes and they didn’t miss a beat and it was done exactly right (no cheese, added veggies). They were super quick with the food and checked on us just the right amount.

I usually go to their restaurant in Rockford but we were heading up into Wisconsin and I stopped at Beloit for breakfast. It was very busy but we received our breakfast quickly. The food was almost exactly the same as Rockford. One of my favorite places for breakfast.
