We love the food at our local place. We are there often for the friendly servers, interesting menu, and quiet atmosphere. Sometimes we do the easy pick-up ordering, too. There are both traditional and unique offerings, as well as Friday/Saturday specials. Shrimp is always cooked perfectly and they have great desserts.

We drive past this place alllll the time. Finally decided to try it. I had the chile relleno and chicken enchiladas. Both were pretty good. The relleno was filled with cheese. The enchilada reminded me of a place back home in LA, so good. The beans were not good, bland. The rice was good. The margaritas come with agave wine, not hard liquor, but still tasty. The portions are small. The burrito was 15 bucks! Small for the price. The service is good. Welcoming and friendly.

Best Food and Service! My family and I love their carne asada chimichanga! My husband also orders the shrimp burrito and carne asada burrito. We had a birthday dinner there once as well. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. My family had a great time!

Everything I’ve had here is good, including the fajitas and carnitas. The carne asada burrito, however, is out of this world and gets them 5 stars just for that. Service is friendly and fast, and the beer is cold.

A favorite stop but not without a few drawbacks. First, we do miss the older owner, Dave very much. He is so personable and nice. The food here can be very good, very professional and feels more like a real restaurant than some other Mexican restaurants in the area in terms of quality. The pick up window for phone orders is a very convenient feature. Love the beans and rice as well as the chips. Everything is generally high quality. Now for the bad. The portions are very small in a lot of cases for the price paid. If you are a big eater you will possibly go home hungry. If you are a light eater you will not have “leftovers”. Restaurants are more expensive than eating at home so generous portions should be the standard, even if you have a lighter appetite. Otherwise, they have a good menu though there is a general lack of ground beef options as nearly every beef dish is made with rump roast….which is great for some dishes, and not ideal for others. The shrimp used in the menu items is very fresh, the chicken is excellent in the fajitas but just OK in other dishes. The taco salads are excellent though small.

I have not eaten in the restaurant but have ordered take-out a couple of times. The food is very good, depending on what is ordered the serving size is small in relation to the price. The only hiccup I have is getting through to them over the phone, calls go to an automated system when I call to place an order. So if you want to order from here on a Friday or Saturday make sure you call earlier in the afternoon, or driver up there to order in person, otherwise try another day. I can still recommend this restaurant as the food is delicious.
