We stopped in here looking for a good steak, and we got that and more! The salad bar was great, and I loved their cucumber salad. I got the prime rib which was great. The soup was delicious as well. Whiskey old fashioned was good too! I tried their fried potato, which I have never seen before but it was awesome! Great job to the new waitress! When we forgot our takeout at the table, she ran it outside to our car as we left and gave it to us. I can’t wait to go back!

Was in town visiting family and hungry saw the reviews thought we would give it a shot. Was not disappointed. In fact I was quite impressed. Definitely will eat there again. Straight up great place to eat. Happy I made the decision to go there.

Went to Volkner’s to have dinner. Met a couple of ladies who invited me to join them. We had some nice conversation. Enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar and had a wonderful meal. Danny, the bar tender, made good drinks. I had the Saturday prime rib special. The prime rib came to my liking. I served myself at the salad bar. There was a nice gentleman there, and we had a good discussion about the salad bar. Gloria had the waitress make her a salad from the salad bar. Dorothy did not have salad. I had the celery soup, a first for me, it was excellent. We all had a good time and enjoyed our meals. There are no pictures today. I recommend Volkner’s for the super club atmosphere and the food.

Very good food, my son’s steak was not cooked correctly they redid it cooked a whole new steak and it came out perfectly cook.

This place has a quaint cozy feel to it. It reminds me of an elks club. The prices are very reasonable.

Disappointed this time. Probably depends on what you order. We went on referral of friends– so I guess take your chances. With this chicken cordon bleu I had steak fries and salad bar. Was just “meh”.

I wanted to try a new place for Friday night fish fry, got there about 5pm. The bartender told us that we could sit at the bar and add our name to the list. We where second on the list. The couple before us got seated and the people 3rd & 4th got seated. The bartender seemed confused and as we sat there we realized there was another list at the bar and with the dining room staff. After waiting to be seated for an hour and many people being seated,,,we left! I would have been happy to eat at the bar but she never came back to ask or see if we would like another drink. Apparently, this place is not organized and I couldn’t tell who was in charge. I don’t recommend at all for Friday dinner
