This was an amazing meal! The service and food were exceptional. Our server was super helpful, and the kitchen is willing to accommodate as much as they can for dietary restrictions (I’m gluten free). Everything we ordered was full of flavor and super well-balanced, with just the right amount of heat. Very excited to eat my leftovers:)

The only thing that we didn’t like was that there was a misunderstanding and our wonderful waitress said she would take one of our appetizers off the bill ( because we talked about 2 apps and ended up ordering only 1). The boss told her they would charge HER for it, even though it wasn’t her fault— and she was not the one who brought it to us. We refused to have her be charged for trying to do right by us. Bad decision, bosses!

Fon’s has a fairly small menu, but a delicious one. I had the drunken noodles, and my wife had the pad kra pao. Both were delicious, as was the Thai Iced tea and the “money bag” appetizer. Our waiter was delightful and service was relatively quick. Prices were a little high ($17 per entree for lunch) but no complaints on the quality. Spice levels were low, as our waiter warned us, but easily customized with some fried Thai pepper flakes.

Ordered my lunch to go today! PADTHAI with chicken! It is soooo yummy! So much flavor and the noddles are nice and juicy. Also my favorite drink, Thai Ice Tea! Thank you for a delicious lunch.

What a delight to have so many vegan options! Even though the Chive Cakes are the only item labeled as vegan, almost all of the entrees can be! It’s rare to find a vegan Pad Thai (especially in Midcoast Maine.) It was heavenly! Everyone in our party left full and very satisfied. The Thai Iced Tea and Coffee were enjoyed as well. We will definitely be back!!!

Excellent atmosphere, especially on a cold and rainy day! The Tom Yum soup, for a gluten free eater, made me such a happy camper. Paired with a red blend, it was perfection. Met the owner, and she is also an amazing person. Check this place out!

We decided to eat out of our comfort zone. Goggled restaurants in Belfast, Maine. Fon’s Kitchen was a choice. What a great choice it was. The food was amazing. Service was great and even the music playing was wonderful.
