We offer unique foods not typical to most diners. We offer a great dinner menu as well as unique foods from around the world and it changes every 2 weeks.
Did I mention gnomes? Gnome is an acronym for Guarding Naturally Over Mother Earth.
There is a great story on why we chose to use the name Traveling Gnome for the name of the restaurant, please ask your server for more details on that matter.

I’ve been looking forward to trying out the TGD for a long time. I can’t wait to go back and try more. The Texas BBQ brisket with eggs and toast was delicious. Perfectly done potatoes with peppers and onions. Coffee was hot and tasted fresh. The cinnamon roll Belgian waffle was great, could’ve spent a little longer on the griddle. My partner said his eggs Benny was delicious. We were sad however that the one thing we wanted the most was not available (apple fritters).

This place is wonderful. I don’t know what they make thir pancakes from but they are phenomenal. We had such a hard time deciding what to eat because everything sounded delicious! My guy got the Gnomie Hangover, and I got the I See Paris, I See France. All of the food was delicious. Our server was attentive but not smothering and let us take our pick of which type of box we would like for leftovers. I am so happy we came here and I wish it was closer to home, but it’s definitely worth the drive. I hope this place stays around!

Finally got a chance to get out and try it. Not too shabby! Omelette is a little smaller than you’d typically get at most diners, but it was certainly good so that’s ok. Home fries were slightly saltier than I normally like, but totally edible and I’d rather have it be slightly too salty than too bland. Toast was great. $17.80 with drink and before tip ($22 after tip). I’ll be hitting up that mac and cheese next time! Overall, not too shabby. Took a while to pay and get back to work, but overall decent service.

This may be the best club sandwich I’ve ever seen. Irish food was super good. Big Texan burger is one of the best in CNY. Service was just a little slower than we’d prefer. The waitress and staff were all super nice. I can’t stress enough that the quality of food here is way above average

We drove 2 hours in a snow storm to try here. Got inside was seated quick. Very friendly staff. Nice vibe. Friendly staff. Very clean place. I had. The French onion soup. Was excellent. Also had the French dip and tots. Also very yummy. Fiance had a the breaded chicken sandwich and tots. And son had cheese burger and tots and all was very satisfying. I give everything a 5 start rating. And pricing is very reasonable and portions are huge. Will definitely recommend and will return in the future.

Highly recommend. This place has become my husbands and my new favorite spot. We have frequented on multiple occasions since they opened and it has been an enjoyable experience every time. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Pictured are perfectly cooked over medium eggs, a perfectly cooked medium well burger and perfectly cooked french toast/home fries. The stuffed pepper soup that’s pictured came out piping hot and was so delicious! I’ve also had their breakfast gravy and biscuits and it is hands down the best sausage gravy I’ve ever tasted. I’ve also had their haddock dinner that was really good as well. I have never had a bad meal here and I really appreciate the cleanliness and all the detail that’s been put into the decorating. I especially appreciate the attentiveness of the wait staff, I have been here with my family of 6 and the staff has always been accommodating. I highly recommend The Traveling Gnome to anyone who is looking for a great meal that is reasonably priced with a family friendly atmosphere.

This was another great stop for us. We decided to head out for a soft-serve ice cream. We drove past this initially, but then decided to turn around and give it a try. The other customers around us were all very friendly people. The staff was also wonderful. The ice cream had a great flavor. We just had a really nice, enjoyable moment. Definitely worth stopping in. What an amazing diner! Went for our first time tonight and was so impressed. The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very family friendly. The decor was cute, love the story of the traveling gnome. Prices were very reasonable and it’s definitely a spot you want to visit!

The Traveling Gnome Diner is perfect for a family friendly outing or any other kind of social gathering! The staff is friendly, polite and works incredibly hard to meet your needs. The menu has meals that meet most, if not all, dietary needs and are delicious! The presentation is neat and enticing. My husband and I drove 40 minutes to get here and will happily do so again soon!
