The TJs in Maple Grove is excellent. The food is always hot and not stale like at some other fast food places. 6 pack of tacos and a pound of potato ole’s are my favorite. They staff aren’t pushy at the drive-thru, and patient if your trying to decide what to order. Well run, haven’t ever had an order messed up. Great place.

Update: I emailed the Taco John’s through the website and got a response around 5 days later. I was granted a free combo meal. When I went to the window to order, they ensured that my items were made fresh and hot. It was so tasty! It kind of made up for it, but unfortunately they only offered the free combo at the Maple Grove location only. That is at least 25 minutes from my house, and I just happened to be in the area the first time I stopped. Kind of disappointed by that aspect of it as they were the ones that messed up.

I grew up in Wyoming and we would drive over 40 miles just to go to the first Taco John’s in Rawlins. Imagine my surprise when I started to see that the wonderful mom and pop drive-through I grew up with in high school had grown and prospered and franchised out of the state. Same quality, same jalapeños, same super-hot sauce, memories galore.

I ordered a chicken and rice burrito. Portions are good and friendly staff. There is some sort of spice either in the rice or black beans that just prevented me from really liking it. It was a though every bite was laced with perfume! Otherwise, I liked the place, but unfortunately, I will not be returning there. Thank You!

We really enjoyed the food. We don’t care for the setting so hard like sitting on a log or rock I get it don,t stay to long I’ve never been there were there’s only been a few people have been there. The other trouble I have is your rewards it’s very hard to use we spent 32.34 and only could count 7.31 on the rewards points and only get one small breakfast reward item thanks.

Our food came out hot and fresh and had a nice portion of meat inside. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the dining area was kept nice and clean. You can tell that the management and staff here really care about the work they do.

5 times in a row that my order was not made correctly, with no lettuce or tomato. I gave them another chance today and it happened again. A meal is way too expensive for employees to fail at basic things. They have lost a customer due to consistently screwing up a simple order. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

This USED to be a great spot with high quality service. Sadly now it’s a pathetic establishment. First off they’re blaring rap music in the kitchen while blasting country in the dining area. Secondly the young man at the desk ( shorter mixed guy) is completely rude and off putting. He also looked very unstable and would shake with what appeared to be rage a few times. Also the food is worse now and almost has a chemical taste.
