Okay! So I see everybody’s giving this place a bad review. It’s probably because they live there in the city and I on the other hand only come through maybe three times a year when I’m headed home to Mississippi! So, I do not have a bad review for this Church’s Chicken. The food is always good, hot and fresh. The okra and apple pie is to die for! Perhaps I come through at a good time? I don’t know. I just know that this is my go-to spot when I’m headed back home to Alabama. This restaurant interior is the highlight of my review, as it gives homemade to the great League B.B. King. The decoration is awesome! I’ve included some pictures for your review. If you’re ever headed down 82 through Indianola MS, do stop in pick up some chicken and enjoy the ambiance! ☺☺

On Saturday May 20th, the staff on duty that took our order between 1-2pm was very rude. She wasn’t customer friendly, rude and disrespectful with interrupting the customer as they gave their order through drive thru. Once we asked to speak with the manager, she wasn’t apologetic or caring. Church’s Chicken is the go to spot, especially with their okra but the customer service outweighs the food. Apparently the manager on duty is having better days because that day she was truly suffering from being hurt.

The girls from 1st shift that were changing over before 2nd shift started were very rude. They purposely let my chicken sit on the counter while I watched and other customers waited behind me. They were offended because they thought I was hollering at them but we both couldn’t hear through the ordering speaker. SMH it’s not having integrity for me. I made a comment when they excited the building and I knew they was ready for drama. SMH the second shift girl apologized and made my order fresh! Nobody is perfect but integrity is a must rather you like the person you’re waiting on or not. I won’t go back during those hours they might spit on my food next time. They didn’t care and they were recorded. Overall it’s not a bad store just people being people in today’s society huh?

Food is ok, sometimes; however some of the employees could use training in customer service. I do not post a rating until after visiting at least 3 times so that I have a general idea of the service and food quality and not just a 1 time bad or good experience. I have visited this establishment over 10 times in around 7-8 months and it never changes! The employees sometime act as if we are bothering them by placing an order or having a coupon for the purchase. I have even had my coupon from the local ad refused!!! Go figure! Maybe the customers should get paid to frequent this restaurant since it’s an inconvenience for the employees to serve them.

Apparently the high school student Jasmine can’t count! Told her 10 tenders, I got 9. Then had to throw one away due to it being undercooked.. Lunch time is better. After 4 it’s horrible. If you don’t want to work quit! It’s sad.. never going back

The place as a whole is nice. Majority of their workers are very rude. The drive thru service is the worst out of everything. You can pull up at the drive thru and sit there for at least 5-10 minutes without your order being taken. The bad part is that, you be the only car in the drive thru… then when they do decide to tale your order they cut you off before you can finish ordering. Your food is not right sometimes when you get it… But they have the audacity to get an attitude about what they did wrong. I have also witness some workers make fun of customers because they get certain items on their menu wrong or confused with another fast food restaurant.

I have tried to purchase a Texas toaster sandwich on 4 separate occasions while on my way to work. The first time it was about 9: 45 am and I was told they were transitioning to lunch. Today a 9:30 I was told the same thing.

I had to wait almost 20 mins in drive through this morning for 2 biscuits. I was the only one in line and I still got asked to pull up and wait for my food. Last several times I have been there I have been asked to pull forward and wait. I won’t be back.
