My husband and I ordered from here tonight and I have to say, the food quality has gone up ten fold from a few months ago. There was a really nice girl with black curly hair who checked me out and her customer service is exceptional and when i walked into receive my order the entire restaurant smelled nice and squeaky clean:) I don’t know who cooked our food, but they need a raise. We originally ordered bc our 5 year old daughter was sick and the chicken broth in the egg drop soup would have been perfect. The food tastes pretty good, but the last three times we’ve ordered from there, there’s been something missing from our order. The bags are always triple knotted and not exactly easy to get into to make sure that everything is right. The first time, we were missing an entire 6 piece rangoon. The second time, we were missing one of our Rangoon egg roll combos that come with the dinner. It took forever to place an order last night. I was put on hold for 7 minutes . I thought they forgot about me so I hung up and called back and was placed on hold for an additional 3 minutes. When my husband got home with our food, there were no vegetables in my hot braised chicken. I’ve never seen hot braised chicken served without the veggies. They asked on the phone if I wanted them and I told them yes, but I didn’t get them anyways. They make too many mistakes for us to want to return. A mistake every once in awhile is understandable, but three times in a row is a bit ridiculous.

I have been a regular at Chaus for a long time. I always order the Almond Chicken which is my favorite dish. Last night I went in for dinner with the family. When my Almond Chicken came out, I took one bite and knew it didn’t taste right. So I informed my waiter, his reply to me “I don’t know what to tell you that’s what you ordered “! Ok at NO time did I tell this young man I wanted bad food , he didn’t even offer to replace my food, I had to get angry in order for them to remove the charge from my bill. They lost this regular customer, not because of the food, but because of the horrible service. I’m also considering a call to the Health Department.

Would have given 0 if possible. Food is ok & that’s it. Restroom totally gross. Don’t even look at the walls where you’re eating because they haven’t been touched in years. Food chunks on menu pages. Got order wrong cause “so busy”. There were 3 tables being used and she wasn’t even working all 3. Last time was rushed out cause they were ready to close, a half hour early. Servers way too loud when we’re trying to have a normal conversation and sweeping around us two times cause they wanted us out of there!. Could go on & on. Before ordering told cashier the bathroom is out of paper towels. Still none when ready to leave. Not going to say what was on floor by toilet, gross. He got a big jerk attitude when told the place has really gone downhill. Not going back… Never recommend either.

Food is often prepared by teens who have little to no cooking experience. Meats are generally overcooked and jerky like. I have eaten at over 100 Chinese restaurants and this one is my second to last worst . I have eaten there 6 different times and all of the Chinese food is Gross. The Crab Rangoon is quite excellent and I suggest you order a side of Hot braised sause or chicken and broccoli sauce to dip in as they are excellent. ( If you get stuck there with friends) Avoid this place if you like good food.

Ordered cashew chicken from chaus today and it had carrots, celery, and some kind of mystery vegetable thats not in cashew chicken. Tasted more like a bad pot roast but with chicken and cashews. It was nasty!

Ive ate here once a week for years food is a bit more expensive than standerd asin take out but the quality of the food is definitely worth the price. One should note though that this place is more Americanized than alot of other places in the area, i prefer this but others may not.
