Interesting location—right off I76 Morgantown exit, but this place is a lot nicer than your usual highway exit restaurants. I love their menu choices and the staff are incredibly friendly.

We stopped at the Heritage House today while traveling along the PA turnpike. The food was delicious and the servings were huge! Everything was freshly made. My son and I have to eat gluten-free but we can eat sourdough. I had the burger with homemade old bay fries. My son had the grilled cheese. His gf had a turkey club with sweet potato fries. My husband had the roast beef sandwich. We all loved the fries! The server, who also seated us, was very friendly, courteous, and made great suggestions. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean. We will definitely stop again!

My family and I LOVED this place! We were in the area visiting the car museum and needed to find a spot to eat. Man, this place did not disappoint! Everything tasted home cooked and was exactly what we wanted! My dad and I got the steak, potatoes, and string beans. Good god! So amazing! My mom got the pork chops. I’m usually not one for pork chops but I tried a piece of hers and it was buttery and melted in your mouth! I would highly recommend this place! Service was great too! Waitress was so nice!

Two of us stopped in and ordered a variety of appetizers. All were very good! Our server was friendly and attentive, but not overly attentive. Prices are fair. The views are beautiful! The dining room has a high ceiling so it does not have a very intimate atmosphere. Very open and bright! Would eat here again if I come back to the area.

We are foodies and were really impressed on our travels when we stopped here for dinner. The hostess and our waitress were some of the friendliness young ladies that we have met. The place was clean and open. We got a side salad and Caesar salad and both were so good. We had a black and bleu burger and the Cajun crawfish pasta. Both dishes were amazing! The burger came with house chips and we usually find most restaurants homemade chips aren’t that great. These were crispy, not greasy and perfect seasoning. We were so full we skipped dessert. If we are ever in the area we will come here again. Highly recommend!

Driving along the Pennsylvania Turnpike we saw a sign for Heritage Restaurant. We did a quick Google search, it looked good, do we spontaneously gavebit a shot. We sat at the bar. We noticed how clean the bar area was. Service was prompt and cheerful. Beer was cold and the food was very good. Each dish appeared to be prepared with pride; not just bar food, deep fried, thrown on a plate and dropped in front of you. We were very happy with our spontaneous stop at Heritage Restaurant.

We have eaten here quite a bit. Food is always good but service is hit or miss. The servers are always nice, but depending on who you get, they will either check on you or just disappear until its time for the bill. The last time we ate here it looks like no one has cleaned it in a while. The baseboards and some of the walls are dirty. But I chalk that up to not having enough staff. We will continue to dine here.

The staff were very friendly and food was very delicious! We did wait a while for our food and for the server to come to us to bring our checks. But aside from the waiting our experience was pleasant. The photo is of my bison sausage with fries.
