I am only giving this establishment 3 stars because I can see the appeal if you are a fan of corvettes. Other than that, the food was not that great. The blackened chicken sandwich had almost 0 flavor except for it being spicy. The fried catfish was incredibly greasy, and the hushpuppies were undercooked. The waitress was kind enough to bring us a new batch that was cooked properly. Overall, go there for the atmosphere and people, not the food

Im going to be brutally honest because i believe thats what this place needs. I chose to eat here because of the ratings from the locals. We stopped by Vette’s around 5pm on a Sunday. Place was not busy but had a party of 20 in the back. We ordered an appetizer of potatoe wedges with bacon and cheese. When they arrived at the table, the potatoe part of the wedges was not edible. Burnt to a crisp and then covered in cheese. I ordered the catfish dinner that comes with Cole slaw,hush puppies and fries. The person I was with ordered the turkey club with fries.

Cindy and her staff do a fantastic job making sure your dining experience is worth talking about. The food lunch and dinner are top choices. My personal favorite is the “Blackened chicken sandwich” for lunch! Yes there are always the restaurant specials that are always great! Give this place a try!

My husband and I got married on 8/12 we did our wedding ourselves and were looking for cheap food options. We called vettes on a whim and from the moment my husband spoke to Cindy about doing a catering order to the moment we picked our food up everything was great. I can’t tell you how many times we Called and spoke with Cindy about changing things and she never seemed mad or anything. I’m not going to lie I was little nervous about thr food but when I tell you it was AMAZING I will recommend this place to many others

This place is a TREASURE.. family owned, delicious food, patrons hug the staff as they leave, they’re bringing me my drink now as soon as I arrive now, asking my name, my woman’s name.. they want to know me. Best burger in Cottleville. Pretzels and cheese, chicken strips, everything is better than anything else around (for bar food). I will support this place for years beyond my residency here. DO IT.

Wow! I had the Chicken Frisco which greatly exceeded expectations! I held the onions & tomatoes. The bread is incredible..toasted Texas toast/sourdough maybe? The plump chicken breast was seasoned perfectly and there’s a lot of melted cheese! I did use the thousand island which was a nice bonus but delicious without! Service was fast & very friendly! Prices are VERY affordable! I visited on a Sunday afternoon.
