Stopped in our town. We had the fish and chips. Was $15/meal, but you get a good amount for what you pay for. Fish and fries had great taste and were crispy and fresh. Was a nice treat and to not have to cook tonight! Also really liked the siracha Mayo.

Love On the Hook Fish and Chips … and we were super stoked they came to a Russellville, Ar !!! Great service and Fish was outstanding , seasoned and fried to perfection, the fries are also delicious and their sauces compliment their meal perfectly. #wyolove

Stopped by BA, OK. It was about $15 for the fish and chips but they were out of Siracha Mayo. The fish is great, and definitely worth going for. The chips you could probably skip.

Well I had to give it a 3 today and was closer to a 2 but I really like the Hook fish truck , we ate a few times 2022 and it was the best fish close to being in England fish and chips.

This truck was hyped up for months and only lead to disappointment. Two stars just because it was fish and chips, and sounded more appealing than starving to death on a hot day.

We tried this place when they were in Farmers Branch, Texas, and it was so good!! Fish and chips were both cooked very well, with lots of flavor. The tartar sauce had a nice pickled flavor to it which was awesome! And the service was very friendly. Definitely will be back when the food truck comes around again.

My husband is from England so we are well aware of what fish and chips ACTUALLY are. This is not even close. The batter was over cooked, and over seasoned so it had a disgusting peppery after-taste. The “chips” were American fries that were terrible and almost inedible. If the fish had been just cooked with no batter and no fries, it would have been good. What a disappointment. Definitely NOT worth the price.

So we went to one of the trucks the company has that travels around. The one I visited came to Greenville, TX and my family had been keeping an eye on it for a while on Facebook. I will start out, I don’t like cod. Never been a fan, I was expecting to give them my pieces after trying it and just eat the fries. Nope, I kept them. It was that good where I wanted to eat my cod. The breading they use makes the fries some of the best I’ve had, and the cod just doesn’t have that fishy taste I’ve never been a fan of.

These people absolutely refused to accommodate me, a disabled person that cannot walk well and definitely cannot stand in a long line. They “don’t have a system for that” well according to the American Disability Act it is illegal to have zero ability to accommodate those less fortunate than themselves. Apparently taking an order down on a sticky note is too much for them. If you are disabled, or love someone that is disabled, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
