The shumai are tasty. They have good buns too. I like to buy the prebagged ones they have ready in their fridge. They’re great to have in your freezer for when you need something to go with a quick packaged ramen dinner.

Bought a Dozen BBQ baked Pork buns this morning from this place. Usually it’s good, but this time they sold me an imperfect pork buns! And the dough is missing some flavor at this time! So not the buns that I usually buy from them!

The worst experience I ever had in my life. Inside the restaurant, it was too dirty and unorganized. The food tastes were not good. And the cashier lady was so rude and cranky while I ordered the food. I don’t speak Chinese and don’t eat pork, so while I was asking her about the food and ingredients in English, she became mad at me. It was a super insulting and bad experience for me in California

The place was manned by an over-half-a-decade old-looking Chinese lady who wants me to buy the whole store! Haha. I would if I could eat them all. It’s just different kinds of temptation- fried, steamed, sautéed and baked. There were even trays of extra goodies on a table ready to be picked unlike the ones behind the glass counters that the lady wanted to immediately part with. At first, I thought of buying the congee and steamed buns but I settled with shrimp tofu, shrimp balls surrounded with crispy noodles, a couple of egg tarts and bread with sesame seeds. She was gesturing like annoyed that I don’t know what I’m missing with the mochi by the register and that I should ask her to pack another two orders of the sweet delicacy. I said, “Next time!”. I’ll even add a taro bun! Their dumplings double the size of the ones served in specialty restaurants was enjoyed at home by my two teens. Sure, these deep fried goodies are not good for you, but I do enjoy consuming these items once in a while. And true to promise, I will go back and buy the other ones I haven’t tasted yet.

Affordable a-la-carte dimsum! Have all the basics (shrimp har gow, radish cake, soy sauce noodles, xiu Mai, sticky rice and the likes!) Cashiers speak English so don’t be afraid to ask around and try something new. Food is pretty good and nice to take out.

Cashier lady was extremely rude. I would give her zero if I could. When we were ordering (with no one behind us), she kept on saying be quick, be quick. When we finished and asked her where to dump the plates, she kept on saying why you cannot find it rather than pointing towards the trash can.

Decent dim sum for the price in this area, but often have to wait in a long line. We order steam pork buns, siu mai, har gow, daikon cake, and more depending on the day and availability. The dim sum is sometimes over cooked or rubbery and the flavor lacks anything special compared to din tai fung or other dim sum locations in San Jose.

Great dim sum to-go for very good price. Plenty of parking but not very suitable for dine-in due to lack of space. A lot of items are in the dispkay cases but majority are not. As such, and in a lot of cases when it is crowded, it is good to know what you are getting before arriving.

WATCH OUT FOR YOUR MONEY! I recently moved to the area and went to this place for some take outs. It’s cash only without receipts. The first time I went I suspected they over charged me, but the cashier lady kept pressing me to leave as a long line behind me. I gave in and later found she double charged two items. The 2nd time I was told to pay around $50 at the cashier. I asked the lady to count items one by one for me as this time I wouldn’t give in for the crowds. She finally said oops she double charged me a $3 item. But when I pulled out the calculator on my phone to start adding numbers together, guess what? It is more than $12 that she overcharged me. I got my $12 back. I was also told by some local friends that this place intentionally miscalculates the total to charge customers more when they’ve already raised the price a lot. Be cautious if you ever buy things here.
