We went to Aki for my bf’s birthday after we couldn’t make it for a reservation at another restaurant. I saw some of the negative reviews on Yelp but after dining here, I honestly don’t understand how they have a bad rating! The service was amazing, the waitress (sadly I didn’t get her name) was really energetic, very polite and just great. The food was fresh and so yummy! Sashimi and sushi was spot on. The General Tao’s Chicken was delicious, my bf finds a lot of places don’t get the sauce right or the texture is odd but Aki has the recipe to perfection. Price is reasonable.

Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The broth with the duck yaki soba soup was the best I’ve ever had! The beef udon had a great sesame flavor and an excellent texture. The sushi was top quality and tender. The seafood coconut soup was thicker than I’m used to but yummy. The fried appetizers, oysters,shrimp rolls and veg. Spring rolls were not greasy and fried to perfection. Pad Thai had slot of flavor! No skimping on the sauce! I will be back! Very reasonable prices too, and parking at the garage 2 doors down was only $2- I didn’t have to drive around looking for parking.
