Tried to order by phone here, but when I looked up the number on Google at 8:30 pm on the dot, they were closed. What restaurant closes before 9 on a Thursday night, which is the night of the work week more likely for working people to eat out? I would rate the food, but we went somewhere else that stayed open until 10 pm local. 8:30 closing is laughable. I will review the food if they are ever open when we usually eat dinner. Which is between 9 and 10 pm.

We made an impromptu stop here at noon on a Sunday. We had egg rolls, vegetable chow mien ,Almond chicken ,Lemon Chicken & egg drop soup. The egg rolls were yummy & on the petite side, which was perfect for an appetizer. The portions of the other items were very generous. The (almond) chicken was tender. The lemon chicken was not soggy. The broccoli & the zucchini & other vegetables were perfectly cooked ! The egg drop soup was very tasty, with small bits of corn which gave it a nice flavor. We were Very pleased with the food & will likely return. Our server was very nice. We don’t go out for meals very often. The menu was a bit overwhelming so we just ordered things individually. We didn’t really have an idea of just how much food we were ordering, (portion size clueless!) ,we just figured what we didn’t eat then we would take home! English is our only language & my husband & I were trading rapid banter as we decided as went with the order , so my sympathies are with our server as we did not understand each other well, which resulted in a bit of a glitch in our ordering. We wanted a side of rice, but when it did not appear we knew we had communicated badly & decided to leave well enough alone. We did Not order the egg drop soup but did REALLY enjoy it. The food was great so next time we’ll probably just order online to avoid any misunderstanding. {Side note: EVERY single time we have been to Habit, the completely English speaking staff, has gotten our orders wrong. Communication goes both ways & I have great respect for someone whose first language is not English-being bilingual is a huge achievement.

Lunch Specials price $11.80 for Kung Pao chicken which I think is $1 more than the menu taped to the widow by the front door. Still a good deal. Spicy, not hot. Vegetables lightly cooked, just right. Not mushy. Fried rice tasty, as was the soup. Fast service at lunchtime during the week in January. Tables outside so I could have my dog LuLu with me to enjoy sunny 60-degree weather. Some reviews mention change of ownership with decline in quality but I think the food is still good and the price reasonable. I’ve been here before and will return.

The lunch menu was nominally priced. It comes with the main dish, appetizer and soup. Serving portion size is good. We got Kung Pao chicken with spring rolls and Black pepper beef with crab cake. And Thai iced tea for drink. The service was quick, the place wasn’t crowded. Highly recommend this place!

Incredible Chinese Food! My wife and I recently moved to Folsom and the first thing we always do when we move somewhere new is find the best local food spots. This is our absolute FAVORITE Chinese restaurant! The food is incredible, the staff is very friendly, and they are very fair on the price. Definitely stop by if you want Chinese food!

Sunny Gardens use to be my go to restaurant for Chinese food. Did not realize that they had changed ownership until I went back a second time from when this change took place and notice the original owner was not in the restaurant again. My meal had changed so much and paid quite a bit more, that I could not eat it. Threw it away. Have never been back again.
