I remember when Sammy’s used to be good. Won’t make that mistake again. Unless I am going for the sundae, I won’t be back. What the heck happened? The food and cocktail was terrible. The remodel should have improved the place but it didn’t. Has an odd updated diner feel without the charm and the light were so orange that it didn’t add to the ambiance but was just annoying.

If you enjoy Chuck E Cheese pizza this is the place for you. I’m sorry but who uses processed mozzarella and a garlic base sauce on their Margherita pizza. I now realize this restaurant is not a traditional pizzeria as it is seemingly advertised. Lets not get started on the crust. My wife and I each had a slice and left the rest. It was greasy and terrible. The whole vibe of the restaurant is strange from the moment you walk in the door. I feel like I was in a Dennys diner.

My cousin brought me here while I was visiting the area. The duck tacos were pretty good and I really enjoyed the turkey sandwich I ordered. I’m a huge fan of lobster bisque and I was expecting something smooth and full of flavor. Theirs was okay, not something I’d order again.

They have the best salmon in town. Javier and staff were super friendly. Great experience with family and most definitely will continue to come. Great duck tacos as appetizers. My son loved his hamburger. And pizza was great. Cocktails drinks were great. Loved happy hour drinks. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for a quick lunch, had never been here before. I ordered the goat cheese pizza and it was amazing! Came with the perfect amount of toppings: goat cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and red onions. The crust was airy and crunchy. Our server was so kind and patient while we decided what to order. Will definitely be back!

Mixed feelings. Not my type of food honestly but what gets the five stars is the service. We had a terrific server, Steven will take care of y’all. My mom ordered chicken Alfredo pasta and she loved it because it was so smoky. My sister got the Hawaiian pizza and loved it. Do the right thing, ask for Steven.

Non edible bland food. Ordered cauliflower pizza dissapointing. Pastas were barely edible. Cobb Salad dissapointing not much flavor with rotten pieces of avocado. Sammy’s no more. Server and gost were friendly.

Disappointed from start to finish. Starting with the food, as you can see from the photo, it is just juvenile with how it was prepared and a little more soggy than acceptable. Second was the atmosphere, where in the second photo you can see the kitchen, which is fine if they weren’t blasting their mariachi music along side the music playing over the radio. One or the other is fine, not both at near identical volume (I let my server know). Third was when I first walked in, and who I assumed was the manager kept asking if I was “carry out” and I had to say “dine in” three times as he carried over some wrapped up food. I might have been dressed down but don’t just assume anything, dude. So just overall underwhelming late 90s decor in dim lighting, two musics playing at once, really under par food and sloppily hashed food, and an inattentive manager. I’m telling everyone to avoid this spot for more than the bad food.

Oh my my my Sammy… this pie is so delicious! My mouth is watering right now as I am typing my review! I could have one whole pie by myself but I had to get a bite of their crispy and fresh Caesar salad! Add extra lemon juice to your Caesar salad with a little bit more pepper ooohhh weeee so good with that Sammy’s pizza! Woodfired Pizza is no joke! That crisp in the crust and that chewiness is just right with all those savory topping! Don’t forget the hot fudge sundae in the plastic wine glass that oddly bends LOL Gosh everything on the menu that had to do with pizza, salad, and dessert was a hit! Sure, they’re got fish tacos but FISH TACOS AT A WOODFIRED PIZZA PLACE?! Don’t go for the fish tacos please when you’re at Sammy’s you go for the PIZZA!

This restaurant has been our regular lunch date venue but it seems to have deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Aside from some unfavorable changes to the menu, the place seems to have fallen into complacency and badly needs an overhaul both of the interior and of the menu – something similar to what CPK did in Fashion Valley. I suspect if that isn’t done soon, this location will be forced to close down due to lack of clientele.
