We rented the roots for our graduation party. It was great! We listened to music and had karaoke. And supplied our own food.

I was surprised to discover a new coffee shop had opened up right under my nose when I wasn’t paying attention. This is comfortable, well-decorated place with great energy, attractive furnishings, and friendly staff. There is an adjacent yoga studio next to the upstairs coffee space and a music listening room in the basement. I even noticed that one of my favorite musicians has been booked to perform there this weekend- bonus!

We had a wonderful evening for our volunteer event! Brandon and Hollie were easy to work with and very accommodating. Will definitely want to go back to Canopy for coffee, a show, or another event.

Got a chance to attend a concert here recently. Great music venue in the downstairs area. Acoustics are great. The subterranean theme is cool. The owner seems to really care about supporting musicians.

My husband and I got coffee here on our way out of Dahlonega. I cannot remember the barista’s name but she was AWESOME! I take coffee very seriously( ) & she was so patient & answered all my questions with a big smile. We both loved our coffees and the atmosphere & vibe of the coffee shop was wonderful. We didn’t get any food but it looked very yummy!

Very friendly workers here. We got to watch the whole process as someone was being trained and it was awesome. Maple cinnamon chai was absolutely delicious. My husband had a latte with peanut butter and cinnamon and it was very good. Everything here was very nice and clean and well kept. Highly recommend is you’re looking for a healthier option to warm your soul in the morning.

Great customer service and such a neat vibe! Love the decor style! They have some super soft shirts for sale with cute designs representing Dahlonega and also Canopy & The Roots. The Roots is an intimate, listening room with a speakeasy sort-of feel. I wish we could have stayed for the show tonight – Lauren Anderson from Nashville. I’m sure the entertainers love the swanky Green room! Brandon, thanks for your hospitality and you all keep rocking it! Hope to see you again soon! And I loved my old school London Fog!!
