Place is dark, service was friendly. Food is fresh, but could be better portioned for the price. I had a cheese steak roll that was not only half the size of an egg roll but was full of peppers with barely any meat.

I order from here 1-2x per week but if it were socially acceptable to eat here more often I would. Their takeout service is typically quick and the woman who runs the front is very nice! I order their sushi lunch special and it’s amazing. I’m never disappointed & will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend Shangri La!

This is my go-to place for sushi on a budget. Their lunch specials are wonderful and affordable. The sushi special is $7.50 for two rolls of your choice and either soup, a drink, or a salad. There is also a lunch special for Chinese food for about the same price, which my friends have gotten and enjoyed. The sushi that I have eaten there is fresh and delicious. They have tempura rolls and vegetable rolls for those who are not as keen on eating raw fish. In the time that I have been going there (since they opened), they have only made one mistake with my order and it was replaced for free and I was given a free drink. The owner is very friendly and kind. He remembers frequent customers and makes pleasant conversation. I will continue returning to their convenient location for excellent sushi.

Overall alright experience. Pretty good customer service and the food I got was also rather good: the portions were good and very filling, but my one complaint is that the steamed dumplings seemed too doughy and heavy for me.

Bento box is great, has a little bit of everything at a great price. Love the Curry big bow noodle soup, ask for extra curry sauce. Sushi is also good. Not much space to eat in the restaurant but they deliver.

I go to Shangri-La once a week because its the best Sushi & Asian food in Bridgeport, probably in the surrounding area also. The food always tastes good (I eat a lot of sushi) and never got my order wrong. You just can’t beet their price on their lunch specials.

We ordered delivery and it was delicious. The food seemed very fresh and the portions were generous. The cost is a little higher that the mall food courts (yuck) but the food was so much better 🙂 We had no menu & their site is not online yet, but the woman that took the order was very helpful and made great suggestions. This is our new go-to for asian take-out!

Everyone I’ve gone there, they didn’t have my dish. And there was also a pungent smell that smelly liked rotten eggs or sewer inside the restaurant. Not sure why I didn’t walk right out but I like the people and they seem nice . If they step up there has and I have no problem giving them 5 stars.

I’ve ordered from Shangri-La about 7 or 8 times the past year when my sister and I are in the mood for Chinese Food. We just look up the menu online and call the restaurant to order the food. One thing that I dislike was the delivery person. He sort of expects a tip and I usually give him a couple of bucks, though he drove about half a mile to deliver the food and he sort of eyes you down for a tip. It’s odd and sort of rude. The food however is delicious and well-prepared, better than most places. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to order from somewhere new 🙂
