This is it! This place is complete awesomeness. Great food. Great people and the place just gives off a great feel. Best burger I’ve ever eaten was their ball and chain burger. This is a hidden gem in Hope. If your not looking for it you’ll drive right past it.

Had an amazing time at the Dirty Skillet. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere, friendly service. We were promptly taken care of by the staff. They kept us cozy on this rainy day by moving a heater closer to our table. There’s also a unique fire pit in the center of each table which is fantastic to watch and practical to keep warm. Food was excellent and we’ll balanced. I had the Big Sexy Kahuna Poke Bowl and it was phenomenal. It was light, but filling. I hope to go there again sometime soon.

Great food in Hope, Alaska! The food here is excellent, and the staff is so nice. This is a great place to stop after a long hike for dinner. Everything we had tasted great, including the pies and ice cream for dessert.

If I could give more stars, I would. I have lived in Alaska for 5 months and this is, by far, the most amazing food I have eaten in this state. I would be here at least once a week if I lived closer. If you are weighing the option to stop here, do it! You will not regret it. 20/10 food, 20/10 pie, 20/10 people.

Great place to eat. The burger I got had a great beef flavor and texture. I’m guessing they grind thier own meat and it’s was great. All the apps were good and all their beer on tap we’re great. A greasy spoon type place but also had great vegan options for my vegan friends. Live music, friendly service, and a blueberry rhubarb pie I’ll dream about all week made for a great meal.

Unbelievable! Staff was amazing. Their Aphrodite Chicken Sammy was literally…literally…the best burger I have ever had! The misses loved the Ball n Chain Burger. We both loved the reindeer and cheesy rice balls apperizer! The key lime pie was to die for! The misses loved the rhubarb crumble. We both LOVED the cinnamon and vanilla ice cream. I am not sure but we are both pretty sure they used Vietnamese cinnamon in the ice cream. EVERYTHING was awesome!!!!

Lovely place to stop for a bite and drink. Kids loved the pond and the ducks swimming in it. The four outdoor tables had a fire in the middle. There were a couple high top tables by the bar as well. Nice fast service. Loved the cookie home made ice cream. The rice balls were expensive but I’m sure a lot of work and they tasted so good. Wish I could have tried more of the food.

Better get there early! This place has become an absolute staple of Hope over the past few years, with great live music, tasty drinks, home made ice cream, and a beautiful view! It gets busy fast, so come in early to enjoy before it gets packed out.
