Food is very tasty and always good customer survice. I would of gave 5 stars but prices went up on certain dishes, which is fine, but you don’t know until you pay. You ask for two $6 plates of food that you always get that would cost $12 and then are told when you are about to pay that it is $16. They should just put prices next to which dishes went up on $ so you are aware. Other than that, everything is really good!

TERRIBLE!! The food is old. They cook it all day don’t even replace the food made from the morning. Except the patelijos they are made when asked.The patelijos were not cooked all the way at all though. Was still pink. I will never go back there again. THEY SCREWED UP MY ORDER 3 TIMES! ITS NOT THE FIRST TIME EITHER This happened. I have no idea how they have so many good reviews because it’s not the best.I tried to give them a few chances but eveytime it’s the same. I have reason to believe the people that work there make the reviews because I’ve seen them and they aren’t even strategic enough to not put there pictures on the review. I’m all set. Not going back there anymore.They got closed down 2 time before for health violations so I’m not surprised. Please don’t waste your money. They also overpriced the plates.

Food was excellent, need better appearance, very dated doors trim and doors need paint and cleaning. Wait staff should be more attentive not on cell phone while waiting on customers. A very good product but needs cleaning up.

Everytime I come here the food is just absolutely delicious. The rice and peas are fresh and it’s moist and tender. The beef with the gravy will leave you tummy as happy as can be!! The plantains are sweet and tasty. If you’re looking for your best value New Bedford for a good plate of food, try the six dollar plate. You will be satisfied and content. Plus the staff is friendly and treat you like they know you, and remember that you’ve been there before. Keep up the good work in feeding New Bedford!!
