We stopped late night after a concert. Not may options open. The clerk at the drive thru was pleasant. The service was fairly quick for chicken. I had never had Guthrie’s chicken but it reminded me of Zaxby’s. For the price, I probably wouldn’t return. Overall a good experience.

I stopped by Guthrie’s for lunch. This is a nice, new location on 280. I had the Snack, which consisted of 3 chicken tenders, fries, and a dipping sauce for $12. Although the food was good and well prepared, I found the pricing to be somewhat high for the menu items, especially since nearly every fast food place offers fried chicken tenders at a lower price. I can not say these fried chicken tenders were better or worse than any I have ever had. I don’t know what I expected, but for the price, I feel like I should be absolutely raving about their food. I am not raving. The food is not bad, and the service is terrific. I suppose I am just surprised that it was so expensive.

My boyfriend and I got an amazing dinner from Guthrie’s tonight and enjoyed every bite, but what was most noteworthy from this experience is the incredible generosity and dedication we were shown from two amazing workers that were there at the time. Our car ran out of gas in the drive thru and as we were pushing it into a parking spot, two guys, one named Pierson and another we didn’t catch the name of, rushed out to help us move the car. They continued to show us kindness as we crossed the highway to get gas by providing us an umbrella and rags as it was POURING down rain. Words can’t express how thankful we are or how much we value such amazing service that extends past the great food the restaurant has to offer. Definitely recommended this location and WILL be back.

Guthrie’s is the OG chicken restaurant. Every time I visit my family in Alabama, I like to stop at local spots that I ate at as a kid. Guthrie’s has always been my favorite chicken finger restaurant.

Hands down Guthrie’s is better than Zaxby’s their chicken tenders are bigger and they taste better! The Guthrie sauce is soooo much better than Zaxby’s sauce. All I needed was some seasoning on my hot fries.
