Gabriela’s tonight was OUTSTANDING!! So excited to see a young 22 year old woman running her own restaurant with Dad by her side. This is amazing! Scott came and chatted with us and the food was simply amazing! So happy to have tapas style Mexican cuisine right here in Rockport! Cannot wait to return!

Fantastic new restaurant in Rockport, TX! The food is fresh, healthy and absolutely delicious. The Ahi tuna tostada is perfection! So are the corn ribs! Gabriela’s salmon salad is so mouthwateringly flavorful that we have returned three times in two weeks. The food is served tapas style so you can try many dishes. The space is beautiful and we toured the add-on section that hasn’t opened yet. It features water views and retractable windows that bring the sea breeze inside. The service was excellent–attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The owner and chef are charming and approachable. We will return again and again. 🙂

This was a great find. Gabriella’s could compare with the best upscale and chic bites in Austin. Great ambiance, friendly staff even for take out. I ordered fish and shrimp tacos, came w my favorite type of salsa verde, not hot, thick and flavorful. Crab cakes app is hush puppies size bites, kids liked. Great mayo side, not garlicky. Great food, unfortunately, no paella. The inside was beautifully decorated. Got sitted without a reservation, thankfully. We were just dropping in because we are foodies..and had to try. Very good service. Drinks were delicious too.

Exceeded our expectations in every way! This review is for Gabriela’s, not for Glow, which hasn’t been in business for a long time. It seems wrong that the ratings for a restaurant under other ownership and management is reflected in the rating for this new one. We ordered takeout the first weekend Gabriela’s was open, knowing there might be a few hiccups as with any new venture. No hiccups for Gabriela’s though! We ordered the ahi watermelon salad, shrimp tacos, guacamole and chips, tortilla soup, lime pie and the rice dessert. My husband and I moved to Rockport almost two years ago after living in major cities our whole lives. We eat out often and we have two rating systems now…good for Rockport and good for anywhere. We both pronounced that Gabriela’s is good for anywhere! I’m thrilled to have them in Rockport and my only wish is they would be open for lunch and dinner on Mondays (my group would love to have lunch and play mahjing there), so few restaurants are in this area. Thanks for a great meal Gabriela’s! We look forward to many more!

Just WOW! the new atmosphere and menu is Top Notch. The food is spot on with flavor, the prices are incredibly affordable, the cocktails are so unique and beautifully executed. I am so thankful to have Gabriella’s in Rockport. A new restaurant is just what this beautiful town needs. Our group had the fish and shrimp tacos, tuna tostadas, corn ribs, shrimp ceviche, spicy margarita, albondigas and patatas bravas , everything was incredible.

We split almost one of everything since this is a new food choice in Rockport (not sure why they are stuck with Glow’s history on Google).The food was outstanding! I especially enjoyed the seafood tacos and the ahi watermelon salad.

The family and I had dinner here. We went on a weekday, and there were only a few tables being used and a couple people at the bar. This restraunt is very small. A converted house, not very well converted, that is only about 15 feet across and deeper than it is wide. Because of the cramped seating area it would be difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. The aisles between tables are just not wide enough. There is a ramp at the door, however and the restroom technically meets state requirements. If you look at the pictures though you’ll see that the only rail is not much help. I also noticed that there were no children. No one but me and the waitress were under 50, and not a high chair in sight. I looked.

Food was excellent and so were the drinks! Not a kid friendly atmosphere (inside at least) or menu but they made the Fulton noodles without the spice for the two kiddos we had with us to share. If it wasn’t so hot we would have eaten outside.
