The poki bowl was a bit small compared to regular poki places , only 2 types of fish and limited add-ons for $14 ,tax included. Customer service was nice and it is pleasant to eat outside but they can definitely improve on many aspects.

Excellent Poki. First off, business was clean and smelt fresh. Staff was frendly, engaging and displayed care and concerns to my lunch experience. The food was great. All aspects of my poki bowl were fresh and at appropriate tempertures. The rice was fresh and slightly warm. The fish was fresh and cool but not frozen. Unlike many poki chains. This was my first time at Hellopoki but definately not my first poki bowl. 10/10. I will be back again! Lastly, meal is priced appropriately for the poki market.

Not the best spot. The selection of proteins and toppings is very limited.

I’ve gone here for a long time, since it was still a “new” restaurant and I’m torn. The quality of fish has always been great for me and in the beginning the restaurant was perfectly clean. (It was new after all.) But after all these years I feel like there is a huge decline in the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. It doesn’t appear to have any regular deep cleaning and it’s getting a little grimy. Do I still eat there? Yes. Do I get creeped out by the lack of cleanliness? Yes.

Honestly the fish was bland and nothing was spicy. I stopped in because I was in the area and was hungry for poki. Should have saved my 9 bucks and went across the parking lot to Chipotle. That place is gross but has flavor. 2 stars because the staff was nice.

I purchased 2 bowls so this review is not based on 1 item. The rice was hard and crunchy, not at all cooked well. When spooning the fish, they filled each last scoop for each bowl only partially. The choices of toppings was minimal and they charged extra for many toppings which are normally included. If you want a quality poki bowl, I suggest Poki-Poki . They have more choices and don’t charge extra.

The fish was excellent, the toppings were very fresh, sauces are made by the owner(the sesame sauce is delicious) the portions are generous and there are many choices for toppings. I look forward to going here again and would absolutely bring my friends.

The place overall is dirty. It’s important that a place that serves raw fish be clean in my opinion. Tables were all unwiped despite it being uncrowded during a peak weekday lunchtime. They add too much sauce which overpowers the taste of the fish. $1 extra for masago. Go to Poki Poki in Oceanside. The food is fresher and the masago doesn’t cost extra.
