This is a small place. They seem to do a huge business in take out. The food was pretty good. They have a cheese sauce that was really tasty. There was no push for us to leave. The portions are good size, but not huge. The staff was really friendly. The service was pretty quick, especially with the volume they were doing. I don’t remember the name of the dish. The meat was very tasty. The rice had a nice mild taste. The price seemed about right for the size and quality of food. There are only a few seats. The place seemed pretty clean.

Now this hole in the wall is some of the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had other than in the real place. The nachos are plentiful and their burritos are huge. The value here is like no other. The service is 10/10. Haven’t had Beef Tongue in so long and was pleasantly surprised to find it on the menu. Highly recommend!

This place is bright, vibrant, clean, and staffed by friendly people. The intersections and this stretch of 140 can be a bear, but La Estrella is worth it. The birria tacos were absolutely delicious. Be sure to save room for churros!

Got takeout.chicken f l a u t u s, chicken burrito, 1 eight oz,guacamole, 1,side rice and beans, 1 xtra,chips, 1 eight oz. Salsa . Ordered online at 4 pm for 5:15 pick up . They did not seem busy at all at 5:15 p.m. pick up time.i drove home with order, they forgot the eight oz of salsa in the takeout bag and the guacamole which was $6.50 did not taste like it was freshly made like it says in the menu. It tastes like those jars you get at the grocery store that have preservatives added. The salsa was quite watery that I got in the little side container. The main food was okay, but the chicken cubes were dried out and overcooked that were in the burrito. A score of 6 out of 10 is what I will give it for the food. Yes, just “okay “.

Honestly would give it a 10/10. By far the best Mexican food in the area, tasted like i was eating lunch in Santiago Atitlan, absolutely loved the corn tortillas. Forget wasting your money on chipotle or moe’s, go here!! Could not recommend it more!

This used to be good but I don’t know what happened. We got food here last week and it was not the same as it used to be. I wouldn’t go back, but we used to go here all the time. I’m not sure if the owners have changed or they were just having a bad day.
