My family and I are avid seafood and beef lovers, and Story of the Pier is our go-to for hotpot. It’s buffet style and the food is super fresh! There are so many options to choose from, whether you’re a seafoodie like me or prefer the good ol’ red meats. Definitely recommend this place for large parties, ask about their private rooms where you can also enjoy the karaoke machine. Lovely restaurant, we will be back!

Spacious private party room, AYCE seafood hotpot and lots of grand opening promotions for seafood upgrades (lobster, abalone!). The service was attentive and food was fresh. Biggest lazy Susan we ever sat around on and each seat has their own individual pot so you can customize to your own taste. The price is reasonable for all that seafood. Unlimited soft drinks and ice cream too.

Customer service was amazing. The moment we walked in, there was someone to accommodate us even though we had a pretty large table. The food was good and the tomato broth was amazing! Overall good hotpot place, would come back again.

Overall a very good restaurant. Those with big parties will enjoy. The king crab was very sweet by far one of my favorite dishes. Presentation was also very nice. The staff were all very kind and understanding. Coming on weekdays may be better because there are less people. Parking is also easier on weekdays. The raw fish that they provide was also very fresh. My favorite was the salmon sashimi. I will be coming back for sure in the near future.

We reserved at a private room to celebrate Birthday dinners. I was surprised at everything they offered. There’s hot pot, sashimi, and bbq skewers. A variety of food, even for the pickiest. The sashimi was really fresh and kept cold on a huge bed of ice. The hot pot has lots of choices for vegetables, seafood, meats, and appetizers. The whole roasted eggplant was my favorite and the roasted chives. Meat was aplenty and always refilled quickly. Servers were attentive at replacing our dirty plates. We even qualified for a free king crab legs. Which were so fresh, the crab meat was pre cut so it was easy to eat after boiling in my Tom Yum soup. The big lazy Susan in the middle of the table made it easy to share and grab what we wanted. The bbq skewers were seasoned with Asian spices such as cumin. Beverages were help yourself in a large coke cola fridge. Soy milk, sodas, and ice tea.

I have absolutely no ideas where those bad review came from and how is this place not packed. For a $48 bucks price tag, you have insane variety of live seafood selections. They are ALIVE! Not to mention the unlimited BBQ skewers and sashimi, not as good as their sea food selections, but definitely a plus for meat lovers. The high quality hotpot variety come in last but always guarantees a satisfying meal after all. Also, drinks, desert, ice cream, etc. are all included. Trust me, give a shot, you won’t regret it!!!

My go to hotpot spot in college point! They offer a great variety of fresh seafood options, including sashimi and free lobster (current promotion). I also highly recommend trying their skewers and grilled fish.

Went with my family for birthday dinner at this newly opened AYCE seafood buffet hotpot place near our house, we call ahead to book a private room which is incredible beautiful to be decorated to become a party room for friend and family gathering, I love their seafood, they are incredibly fresh and tasty. they also have grand opening promotions going on now which every table get uni and sea cucumber, not sure when the promotion will end! this place is definitely highly recommended for people who love seafood and hotpot or just for friend and family gathering, and of course for party also since they have few private rooms available for reservations only. We will definitely going back for fresh seafood and hotpot.
