The Fishin’ Pier is the high point of our week in Avalon every year. We make a point to go every day. Outstanding service from everyone we encountered. The owners are a treat and the servers consistently go above and beyond, especially with our toddler. More importantly, the food is incredible. Perfect omelets across the board, and better pancakes than the chain down the street. Being able to hear the waves while you eat is the cherry on top

Didn’t really care for the general attitude and negativity at 7:30 a.m. I get it you don’t want people to walk through to go to the beach, but making the “No you may not” the slogan the employees wear on their backs and to have a board of stupid questions says a lot about what kind of people these people are. The service was fast and efficient, but no one was friendly or unfriendly. There were just there. The food was okay. Most diners will have better food. There’s absolutely nothing special at all except for the freshly squeezed orange juice, which isn’t offered at most breakfast places. We sat inside where it was dark and small. The outside seating area of 3 or 4 tables is lovely right on the boardwalk.

Delicious breakfast in a quaint space on the Avalon boardwalk. Both outdoor and indoor seating. Can’t beat the outdoor seating on the boardwalk next to the beautiful homes and ocean. La Colombe coffee was top notch and the asparagus omelet was to die for. Do not skip out on this perfect way to start your day!

Perfect beach breakfast place. Walk down the boardwalk. Eat indoors or out. It can be crowded but they serve coffee while you are waiting. Great pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and upscale omelets.

Small cozy restaurant on the pier parallel to the beach. Coffee was good and the omelette was huge. The home fries were perfectly seasoned with a slight spice. The French toast flavoring is cooked into the French toast and not a topping on it, which my wife liked. The best breakfast I have had while at the beach. We were there soon after opening so we were seated right away. I imagine this place gets busy later in the day and there could be a wait. CASH ONLY.

Happy to have found this place at the end of the boardwalk. It was nice to eat outside and people watch for a while. Prices were super reasonable and the service good. Highly recommended. They take cash or Venmo.

It’s ok. Breakfast on the boardwalk is the gimmick. Pancakes are large but thin, eggs were meh. It’s cash only. If you don’t have cash then it’s Venmo which comes with a $1 charge. Staff is so so. Might have been an off day for them. $20 – two cakes, two eggs, toast, and coffee. Inflation, I guess.
