I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could but rounded up because Rosalie, I’m assuming, was very nice and took pride in her food. The main problem with this restaurant is some of the dishes were on the cool side. Pan fried mozzarella had warm and cool spots in it – would have been delicious if it had been warmer. Also ordered broccoli rabe as a side, this was borderline cold. The food that was warm was very good and fairly priced. Large cocktails and wine. Good value for the money but disappointed that food arrived cold. The restaurant is in a very odd place. It’s located in a senior living apartment complex and has decor that looks like a senior living facility dining room. No stars off for this, just saying atmosphere is not it’s strong suit.

Amazing homemade authentic Italian food cooked with love. I have eaten here many times and everything I’ve had I have thoroughly enjoyed. My son had a 60th surprise birthday party here for me, it was wonderful and all that attended loved it too! I would absolutely recommend for an enjoyable lunch, dinner or special occasion.

We just moved into Vineyard Commons and found this gem of a restaurant! Here is the good news… it is open to the public! Come dine, take out or ask fir delivery!! This is a MUST try in Highland! Taco Tuesday is all you can eat! The Italian food is authentic and the brisket burgers are melt in your mouth!!!

We had our son’s first birthday party at La Cucina and we couldn’t have had a better experience. They did not disappoint! Rosalie was wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and timed perfectly. She displayed the appetizers and desserts as animals to play into our party theme and they were adorable!! The staff are all friendly and very accommodating. We didn’t worry about a thing and were able to enjoy the party. We had an amazing experience. Thank you La Cucina for making this day perfect for us and our “Wild One”!! We will see you again soon!

This might be the best kept secret in the Hudson Valley!! The food at Rosalie is outstanding!! The restaurant is part of Vineyard Commons in Highland, and like many others, I thought this restaurant catered to an “older” eating style. NOT SO. Her menu is extensive and she always has some great off menu specials. If you like Italian, look no further. Rosalie in Highland is the place to go…..try it, you won’t be disappointed.

I give this restaurant a 5 star rating because I feel that the food was excellent and the service was the best. We had penne vodka, burgers, calamari, Brussels sprouts in balsamic, Caesar salads, pan fried mozzarella and zucchini sticks. The garlic bread that came with the penne was loaded with garlic! Delish! All the food was obviously home cooked. And since we were celebrating a birthday, they came out with a dessert and a candle. This was a really good find for my family and I, we will definitely be back! Thank you Rosalie for making our meal special!

This is the 3rd time I have had take out from this restaurant. The first two times were excellent!! I had delivery today for St Patrick’s Day! I was quoted one amount a couple days ago and a lesser amount today, so I took it!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at La Cucina Rosalie & Lou’s. From beginning to end Rosalie went above and beyond to accommodate our dream wedding. Rosalie listened to what we had in mind and gently guided us through the appetizers, main meals and desserts available. All our guests commented how wonderful everything was!
