Visiting town for a few days. I ordered mussels, calamari, meatballs & charcuterie board in the four visits there. The food was abysmal. The mussels were dried out and old, the calamari was like chewing a large rubber band the first order of meatballs came with some pink sauce that was sent back because we ordered marinara sauce. I tasted the pink stuff it was a cross between a really bad vodka sauce and some creamed tomato sauce. The meatballs arrived tepid but they were decent sized and not at all dry as I would have expected. The lady next to me ordered a flat bread, she sent it back it was greasy and flavorless she said. For drinks and socializing this place is pretty good, except the AC doesn’t work very well and gets hot in there but the people and music make up for the terrible food and warm restaurant (kind of). I’ve visited with a couple locals and even though I was not a local I was treated very very well.

We had a great experience. The staff were very accommodating with our large group. We were there to celebrate a birthday and they were extra sweet to the birthday girl! Our waitress gave suggestions and was knowledgeable of the menu.

My friend wanted Italian food for her Birthday and I highly recommended this place. Service was very poorly. They made us wait forever to order, got one order wrong and the 3-5 minutes to cook shrimp turned into more than 10 to fix it. Waiter said they were confused about who was taking care of us. Very embarrassing experience for me suggesting the place which I never had a problem before. Very disappointed.

Lovely and quaint…it has 4 sections: a side dining area, a bar area, outdoor dining and an area that’s sort of like a listening room with very comfortable seats. I had the salmon ceprese and it was fabulous, so was the shrimp scampi and the Tomato Basil soup was the best (it had little chunks of tomatoes which was a nice surprise). Live music was a solo act, Kevin Fenton, playing familiar, mellow tunes that the crowd enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

I try to not leave bad reviews, so I will start out with the positive – the atmosphere was nice, the waitstaff were great and I liked the baked clams. The meal was WAY over priced. The chicken bruchetta was not worth $20, a bland piece of flattened chicken with tomatoes and cold mozzeralla cheese. The chicken parmigiana and sauce were good, but the pasta tasted like it was cooked in dish water.

I love this place… I really do. I like the vibe. I like the bar. I like the clientele. I like the staff. Every single time (literally), there has been an issue with the food. Nothing egregious, but little things. For example, they forgot to bring out a salad the other night and didn’t remember quickly. Little stuff like that. Nothing that will keep me from going back, but there has been some issue every time. How ’bout this, don’t go in hangry…it may not go in your favor.
